Thanks for the discussion about changing sides for feeds, it's been really handy as LO has been faffing a lot and having lots of short feeds in sucession. I wanted to get on yesterday to say that but every time I caught up on reading she started complaining about being hungry again!

Had three rough nights in a row now, which has not been fun. DH took the brunt of the first two but then ended up sleeping half the day and leaving me alone with her and I didn't enjoy that. He doesn't have a sense of when I am struggling with her and could use the company, even if it's just him snoring on the other side of the bed:rotfl:

Had over a day with no dirty nappies and DH got the one where the backlog had come through - he's doing brilliantly on the whole and I told LO she'd done good saving that one for daddy!

tBad night here too. Think i got a mammoth cluster feed combined with 2 week growth spurt. Lo feed pretty much non stop from 8pm to 2am before falling asleep- each boob got 3 goes and both felt v soft and empty by the end!!! Hope its not the same tonight, i literally felt drained!!

We went for our 6 week check today at the GP's, Katie is 7 weeks and is now a whopping 10lber She has put on 10ozs this past week despite being poorly with a chest infection.

I'm still bleeding, so have to go back next week if it hasn't stopped

Poppy used to do that Kira , was knackering. She just wouldn't settle till about 1am. Hope it is better tonight.

Hi all,
I'm coming out from delurking for help. My lo is almost 6 months and teething...I hope to god she's cutting one, last 4 nights have been rotten. Got alll the usual stuff, nothing is working for her. Diarrhoea is disgusting, fever, and she screams with pain....Amy suggestions? Willing to try anything, witchcraft, voodoo, anything.

i know there was a thread around recently about amber teething anklets and necklaces, some people loved them some were sceptic, sorry its been yrs since mine teethed and luckyly samuel isnt there yet so have no other suggestions. x

Please could I join this thread? Timmy was born on Monday 23rd Jan, weighing 8lbs 9oz, and he's our first child. He's a perfectly behaved little angel at the moment, but i'm waiting for all that to chnage lol.

Congratulations and welcome along. x im sure he will stay a perfect angel but if not come and have a moan here lol

Hi Smileyface - I just use calgel and calpol but try not to give her calpol too often. I have heard ashton and parsons powder is good but can be hard to get hold of.

I had my first full night sleep last night in 9 months. She slept from 11pm-8am without waking. I think it is because she has a cold though so not expecting a repeat.
