Okay I posted this on the pregnancy thread but may get more response here.
I appear to be leaking, it's not loads and loads but it is a fair bit, but it's coming out slowly. What could it be? I don't think it's wee, I've examined it :rotfl:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Could it be waters Gilly? Mine never broke either time but I've heard that it can be more of a slow trickle rather than a big gush. You're not far off so he could be making an early appearance?Little lady arrived 13/12/110

Thanks yummymummy, well I phoned the hospital and explained what was going on to them, and they didn't seem worried or tell me to come in or anything. Just said as it had stopped for the time being, to keep an eye on it, and if it starts again any time soon to give them a phone back. So just have to sit tight and see what happensThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Yay!!:j:j Hv just been for first visit. She was v happy with LO. She has gone from 9lb7 oz at birth, to 9lb 13.5oz today, which is 91st %ile. Interestingly her length is 99th %ile and that indicates a height in range of 5ft 9 to 6ft!!
Such a relief she has gained. Bf all looks great according to the hv, who was horrified by the hospital thing...Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Ive read expressing 10 mins after a feed is good time, done daily esp in the morning. Done daily it should increase supply plus you can feed the expressed in the eve when your milk is likely to be less. Plus Drink more fluid yourself. Have you tried massaging your boob? Find a hard spot and gently massage and it releases more milk from unused ducts. Are you demand feeding or by time? Might be worth doing what we were advised when lo wasn't feeding enough, and going to 20 mins in 2hrs by day and 3 hrs by night for a few days. Really helped pick up lo and she has gained beautifully.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Hiya ladies.
Just wondered, have any of you had labours where baby was back to back?
Had my sweep today, and was told after that baby is still back to back, and that I should use my ball to try turn him before induction on Monday.
Just wondered what will happen if he doesn't turn? Or if you had any tips for turning him? Thanks in advance x

Gillyx when I had ds my hind waters went (its a slow trickle of clear liquid, slightly thicker then pee) so I would keep an eye on it, once broken for 24 hours you need antibiotics. The hospital can test to confirm if it is amnionic fluid.
If they have gone, your waters will constantly be replenished. And they will induce you after 48 hours. We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. When I went to the hospital to get checked after my waters broke they said Amelia was back to back (and that was what could have caused my waters to go before any contractions started). But to be honest I have no idea if she'd turned by the time we went back to hospital later on. And I have no idea which way she was when she came out. And also I realise this isn't that helpful as I don't have anything to compare it to... :rotfl:
I'd just spend as much time as you can leaning over your ball, hopefully baby will then turn. But don't worry too much, baby could stay back to back for now then turn right at the last minute!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
