Am currently trying to get us into a bit of a routine before OH goes back to work next week, we are all very tired but loving being parents for the first time. We're very keen money-savers so will be keeping a close eye out for tips - current things I am on the lookout for include nursing bras and tops.

Anyway, like I say, a massive hiya to everyone on this thread, I am going to try to read back a bit to get myself caught up with who's who etc.

Evening all :wave:

I'm back! Had a lovely time with my friend in Holland, and LO was very happy too (happy baby = happy mummy) - the two of them got on like a house on fire Flights went very well too - they moved us so we had more space, I got the pram back as I got off the plane rather than on the luggage carousel and on the way there we were given business class food that they had left over - LO ate all the pear and yoghurt We flew KLM and they were brilliant. Oh, and I've fallen in love with London City Airport - nice and small and quick, sooo much better than Heathrow and Gatwick when you're travelling with a baby.

also did weaning mean your baby went longer between feeds during the night. this is all i am hearing from my mum at the mo or give him a dummy.

We have this book - it's really good, explains all the pros and cons of both methods without being biased towards one and has lots of practical ideas and recipes.

My LO will be 7 months in a week's time, and she hasn't had a feed during the night for almost two weeks now. But I don't think this is due to weaning - I think it's just that she's older...

Hi Nutella glad you had a great time. We flew from Gatwick in the summer and it was hectic as its so huge, may have to have a look at London city for next summer.

Thanks for the lovely msgs! Doc thinks Aiden might be alergic to the amoxicillin he had so he has some erythromicin now. Fingers crossed it clears his cold. It did mean we couldnt take him to nursery though as its 24hrs until they will take him. He came shopping with me and my mum as its all indoors. He slept most of the time tbh. I hardlt got any xmas stuff, still need mum, stepdad, dad and nephews stuff.

Welcome back Nutella sounds like the flight was great for your LO.

Thanks Mozzy, hope this solves it - just never know at the moment. Sounds like Charlie is having a rough time too poor thing. Hopefully keeping a food diary may show some triggers.

I fell asleep on the sofa at 8 so came to bed but am wide awake now!x
