Katiechoc - I've not seen the train so can't comment on how good it is, however I'm another who likes fisher price toys. They always seem good quality, bright colours etc.

Love those little fingers sneaking through Ro! Glad G isn't on the move yet now.
Thanks Ro, I've liked the look of them for a while but we're getting over run with toys and baby paraphernalia so like to get 'real' reviews!Newborn thread member

On the puree v blw front, it depends on the baby. My pair, me, and my Mum all gag very easily, I find it hard to swallow big tablets even. Must be a genetic thing.
I can always still breathe, the problem is that as soon as something sticks it triggers all my mucous membranes (TMI) so I end up with my nose, eyes, everything streaming, then it tries to go down my throat (presumably to help with the blockage) except it can't so I end up making most disgraceful noises until it clears and spitting out all this excess fluid so I don't drown in it!0 -
Evening ladies
Just sold Noah's swing on eBay, feel quite sad it's going now. I would keep everything as I'm so sentimental about things!
When I was at the school fete on Saturday I managed to pick up a vtech caterpillar toy, a triangle shape activity toy and a mega blocks bus with loads of big bricks in it all for £1.25.

We started a new tactic with Nialls sleeping a few nights ago, basically earlier bedtime and taking it in turns to try and get him to sleep, the other person stays downstairs its less stressful for me as I was doing most of the work before. He slept for 3 and a half hours last night which is the longest stretch in a week then 2 hours then I brought him into bed with us.
I was doing his last feed upstairs earlier and my husband made a loud noise downstairs he pulled off the breast and started crying and I couldn't get him to stop. He wouldn't go back on even though I knew he was hungry, I ended up giving him a small amount of expressed milk in a bottle to calm him down and he fell asleep but was up 10 mins later. He is asleep at the mo not sure how long for.
Hope the meet up went well.
My mum and dad are looking after Niall for 4 hours while I get on with things tomorrowI am hoping they do ok because he is a tricky customer when it comes to sleep.
I am rambling about a load of rubbish, will stop now

Hello all
Not a good wkend here reallypoor Aidens cough has got worse over the last 3 days. To top it all off last night he had a bit of a rash on his tummy, I thought it was a heat rash as it was on his neck and where his vest was. This morning it had gone so took him to nursery but when we picked him up they said they had noticed it on his 4:00 nappy change. Its spread all over him now. I rang my Dr at 6:30 and he was so lovely on the phone, we did the glass test and it dissapearred which is good. He said if its not raised or itching him, which it isnt, and if he has no temperature and is happy in himself then to leave it till the morning. I was expexting to go to the Hospital but he said not to. He has booked us in for the morning at 8:00, he is even coming in especially as he doesnt do morning surgery on Tuesdays. He thinks Aiden may have picked up another viral infection at nursery and the rash is a side effect of that. He also wants to prescribe him something stronger for his chest.
Luckily I am off tomorow as me and mum were going xmas shopping, depending what they say though I might have to stay in with him.
We gave him some calpol before bed as he was so uncomfortable coughing and he needed to just sleep. Poor thing, he seems to have had a tough time lately with this cough.
Anyway, Sammie and Ro - lovely trees!! Ours is out of the loft but still on landing! Trying to risk assess where to put ours!
Hope everyone is ok. xxxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea
