    Happy New Year Everyone!

Thank you all for the support in 2011 and here's hoping that 2012 will be a good year for all - bringing good health, happiness and peace of mind.

I spent last evening at my DD2's house, she had done a buffet, so we played cards and chatted - there was about 7 of us and although a low key celebration was really nice. Today we are all (DDs and Partners) going out for lunch, so I am looking forward to that, I will do the driving as I am still on the strong antibiotics and can't drink.

House cleaned from top to bottom yesterday, so when I get back think I will get comfy with a DVD. Have a lovely day all

I have started the new year by doing some batch cooking of HM ready meals and the base of a cheesecake. I am going to try and do something OS everyday and think I will post it on the Daily as I have lapsed of late.

    Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Hi everyone
Popping in to wish you all a very happy new year.
Two years ago (where has the time gone?) my resolution was to post on the daily every day, but soon lapsed. This time I'm making no promises, but I hope you dont mind if I pop in now and again.
I read every day (so know all the good/bad news) but never get around to posting. I feel that you are all my friends so will try and keep in touch.
  • Hello everyone
And Happy New Year - I know I've only been lurking around for the past month or so but I've already gotten so much from these forums (fora?) so thankyou. I'm hoping that for 2012 I can be much more OS, much more flylady and finally get a hang on my finances.
I was up by 8 this morning, quite delicate but ok. Spent all morning batch cooking for next week and using up leftovers from last night's dinner (my mum and her hubby came round for a roast). I've also hoovered and mopped in the kitchen and used all manner of kitchen contraptions that I'd forgotten I even had (steamer, rice cooker etc). All decorations down apart from the tree but I really cannot be bothered with it for now.
Hope 2012 brings happiness to all.

HAPPY NEW YEARto all my lovelies on here.
Hope you all had a lovely evening /night. Ours was quiet, was only me and ds4 so we curled up on the sofa with the throws with a box of chocs (slap my wrist) and a bottle of diet coke and watched series one on Prison Break. Both fell asleep before midnight, woke about 3am and said happy new year and went to bed:rotfl::rotfl:
Ds1 was at a party, as was ds2, 3 and dd. Ds3 arrived home about 2 hours ago with a 'headache' ;) self inflicted so gave him a glass of water and told him to sleep it off. Dd arrived home just after 10 , fresh as a button and ds1+2 are yet to make an apperance.
Tree down, christmassy bits all put away :T normality has been restored in the lounge. Washing machine on, turkey crown that I managed to pick up yesterday just before icelands was shutting, down from £17 to £2 couldn't resist. So a 'christmas' dinner yet again today , leftover turkey with salad and jackets tomorrow .
Took woofer out this morning and one of my neighbours has been taken into hospital:(. Lovely elderly gent , has been looking very poorly for the past few months , collapsed yesterday evening whilst celebrating New Year, I saw his wife she seems to have aged overnight, so thoughts are with him today.
All my os done for today,
NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS .........to still work hard at my os, it is paying off and is lovely to know that have no debt , a little money put by and am teaching the kids a very good valuble lesson .Oh and to continue loosing weight,
Have a lovely day all , stay safe :)

    Happy New Year all

Hope you all had a good night whether you celebrated it or not. I enjoyed the party we went to. I wasn't really feeling it yday afternoon cos I was sooo tired fromt he night before (;)) but soon got in the party mood :D It was fancy dress so we went 80s fashion. I wore big pink skirt and black boob tube, with floral tights, black boots, giant crimped hair with floral hair band, and very fetching pink and blue eyeshadow! :rotfl: Pics are on FB if anyone wants a laugh. We spent most of the evening with my friends cousins playing board games and drinking. Luckily my friend wasn't drinking so drove us home. At 3am!

Note to self - 2 nights of very little sleep is not a good thing! I'm exhausted!

My friend woke us up at 9am to say her cousins were going for breakfast so we went and joined them for all you can eat breakfast :D. Home now and I'm going to nap for few hours.

My 2012 is off to a good start....I'm going on a date with the guy from the other night :D Only going to cinema, I didn't fancy anything else cos I'm so tired lol!

I don't do resolutions but my hopes for 2012 are:
    - to lose a bit of weight
    - to pass my PGCE course
    - to get embrace more OS ways, especially when I move to the new house where I'll have a garden to grow stuff in.
    - to try get my vertigo sorted, I will push the Drs for more tests/help etc

OS may well be lacking here today.....:o

    Have a fab day all
