morning all
another child here who is very tired thanks to the neighbours arguing all night  getting him to nap during the day wont happen or if it does it will be around 4/5pm and then he wont go sleep tonight. he has just gone upstairs and is laying on my bed so fingers crossed..... would rather he fell asleep now rather than later.
i have decided that i will post everyday now and thats got to include what i plan to eat for the day/or have eaten. we are getting a wii fit hopefully today. i know it is easy to cheat and not do it properly but at the moment that is going to be the easiest thing for me to stick rather than going for a walk/run everyday. no use setting goals if they arent going to be realistic after all.
so today! i cant eat breakfast. never have done so i tend to skip that mealbut i will have some fruit in a mo. lunch - we're off to hubbys nans for a sunday roast. for me that will be chicken and veg. then this evening will probably just be some toast or a sandwich. there is tons of fruit and nuts to snack on as well.
i need to think of some healthy sna cks for hubby. he's not keen on fruit/salady bits and it allergic to nuts. any ideas?? he likes flapjack but wants more variety.
other than that ds's toys are moving to his bedroom today. i want my living room backand then lots of chilling
hope everyone isnt suffering too much
ETA ds is asleep
ETA2: i will also be blogging everyday too if you fancy a nosey"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -

Morning!
Thank you for all the lovely messages yesterday and Happy New Year to all.
The nurses have been already. I have a new pair now and they leave me with a hot drink in a lightweight sippy cup thingy as my hands are getting worse with the grip. I feel like a baby, but at least I get my hot drink:D I also have a lovely PA 3 times a week and she's great and does all the jobs I can't and with OH not being here as much it makes me feel a little more independent and she's a star! It works out much cheaper than me having care from the council at £14ph or going to a centre which I would hate. She always fixes me a sandwich and tea before she goes as Im limited to mainly upstairs in my bedroom atm and its been like that since about February. Lucky me. It helps OH enormously and stops me flapping about worrying that OH is doing to much or things aren't getting done. She is also CRB, helps me with personal care and able to sort my tablets and other meds.
The WM & DW has been emptied. The house is relatively tidy and we have lamb chops out for dinner which we'll have with mash, sprouts, carrots and cabbage. Ive done a shop for tomorrow using a £10 off voucher at Sainsbury's and got some great offers.
Goals for 2012 for me are:
More de-cluttering and selling/charity shops stuff (With PA's help)
Using up cupboard/freezer items (Must do list!)
Add to savings
Meal-plan better
Make garden more assessable if we're staying as I would love to get out there
Carry on with the garden (excellent gardener we've used for 18 months)
Look for cheap caravan holiday
So far done for 2012:
Cancelled Sky then took up offer of 50% off for 12 months
Opened ISA each and put cash in and will add more monthly
Think I'm rambling now:o

hello everyone, I've not been on recently but I am still about and still trying to be OS!

 Happy New Year from me too
Another one MIA but I do try to read each day and keep up with things. Work has taken me away so much over the past few months that it's dificult to be regular in anything.
Last night I didn't have any alcohol - think a cold is simmering away in my body so just lay around and watched TV until the Bells. We turned down a couple of invitations too so I was happy to get into bed after the end of the festivities.
Newcastle had a fireworks display earlier in the evening which I watched from my bedroom window - really enjoyed it.
Today I am now going for a shower and then will try to shake off the cold germs with a walk at Gibside Pleasure Gardens. Up and down the Long Walk once should either bring the cold out properly or send the germs scuttling off elsewhere. The rainstorm woke me up a couple of times last night so I should sleep well tonight.
My thoughts to those who have loss, bad times or needs something a little extra. For everyone I send best wishes for the new year and hope it brings everything you need and want.
For the Scots amongst us - here's a visit back to Stanley Baxter.

Just a quick :hello: and to wish everyone all the very best for 2012. health, wealth (well enough anyway) and more importantly, happiness. We had a great time last night, plenty of dancing, and the legs have been cramping to prove it
We always seem to be the ones who get the dancing start, while no great shakes, we know that once we get on the dance floor everyone else will soon hide us, it just takes the initial move. DJ was a bit duff, but we sorted him :rotfl::rotfl: Never had a DJ before who never spoke or announced anything:D
Head is fine, DH and I share 1.5 bottles of red wine, but it was spaced out well, and with food, (the meal was great) and some diet coke.
Another one here back on the diet road once we get to Spain on the 11th, find it very hard to diet while travelling, so will start once we get there and take the Wii with us. If I don't feel like serious exercises will do the Just Dance ones, every little helps as they say.
Just wanted to say Hi to Smokybabe & the LO's if they are reading.
Take care all - (((hugs))) as needed/wanted - DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
I went to collect DGD2 from DD's y/day and was supprised to see her tackling a frog, she was doing her tax return. I made her a flylady plan on friday and she's taken to it already. Has DGD until 6pm, DH dropped her home and brought back a curry takeaway, a rare treat for us. We saw the New Year in and toasted to absent friends and my Darling brother.
Roast lamb and all the trimming for dinner. DH has cooked the veg for me, a regular Sunday ritual, all I have to do is slow cook the lamb studded with rosemary and garlic. Off to our local to meet up with friends then we're having DGD for a sleep over.
:wave:WELCOME TO ALL NEWBIES
TRU  Sounds like your DS is well out of that relationship, and just in time.0 -

Hello everyone :-) I'm another one who has been MIA for a long time, but 2012 is going to be my year for frugalness!
My resolutions:
Keep up with my small business - I actually have a small profit so far and I've only been doing it since June!
Eat healthier
Save money for house deposit
Pay off credit cards
Finish big crochet blanket
That's about it for now. I hope you all have a wonderful new year! It's my birthday on Friday, so my eating healthy wont start till after then.... Can't miss out on cake now can I? :-)the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
