no its not too faced, i have never thought about any one else in a sexual way other than my partner, i have never imagined anyone other than my partner in sexual fantasies

people get crushes, my OH can have a crush on a celeb or someone online but if its someone in real life thats a no no

I'd imagine the OP is more worried that there's always a chance that this mysterious woman at work just might reciprocate his feelings, and the friend with whom he had the conversation might be unsubtle enough to "put the cat among the pigeons".

Never mind the banter, this could be the makings of a marriage-wrecking flirtation or worse.

The fact that he immediately denied there was a woman speaks volumes to me, sorry to say.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Don't worry, she changes the rules to suit her present standing.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

I've never had a problem with eyeing up some of the fellas I work with (well, know through work, rather than work with, iykwim) because there's not one of them that would touch me with ten !!!!!! sticks and if they did, well then yes I would run a mile no doubt. All mouth and no trousers, that's me. I bumped into someone I know from work afew weeks ago when I was out with DH and the kids and I absolutely died. This fella is a bit older than me, I've known him for donkeys years, he's gorgeous and the nicest person ever. Luckily I'd done my hair and had some slap on, but I'm also standing there with the biggest bucket of ice-cream you'e ever seen, complete with flake and chocolate sprinkles, and he decides to stop and have a chat. I couldn't get away fast enough! DH is well aware of my opinion of this chap but knows nothing would ever happen (in fact, he sneeringly commented on the fact he was wearing flip flops.... in November :D) so certainly has never expressed concern and imo it's far better that I'm open about my never to be requited lust for this gentleman!

We also work with some police officers, plain clothes, and my (younger, prettier) colleague was enquiring of one of them, just before Christmas, whether just because him and his colleague are plain clothes do they still have a uniform (yes they do) and do they still wear it for special occasions (yes to that too). It was a hilarious conversation, she was trying hard not to drool, he was enjoying the attention and I was hysterical in the corner!

You know when it's harmless, and you know when it crosses the line. There's a big difference between the two.

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
