Are you seriously saying that such 'harmless banter' is necessary to have a good time.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Good! All too easy to say "let's let the rubbish continue because the alternative is too difficult."Debt free 4th April 2007.

Not at all, just go with the flow a little and remove that rod from up your rear end.
If you don't want to partake in it then that's your right, but who are you to comment on what other people say?0 -

Abusive comments aren't needed. Of course I have the right to say if someone says something which is offensive to me, even if I'm not directly addressed.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Frankly I'd decide how to proceed by your OH's reaction when you played it back to him. If his first reaction was to be genuinely horrified -I'd let it go but if he tried to make excuses or justify it before acknowledging it hurt you then I'd leave him on the sofa a while longer

Really it sounds like a bit or banter and banter has its place-and for some couples it's OK and for others it isn't-neither is wrong-it's just we're all different. Doesn't matter if it's a celebrity or someone in the workplace-both are likely to be equally unavailable and unrealistic propositions anyway .
In your situation I'd let it go but expect him to be making extra effort -nice meal out-take me clothes shopping etc as he was wrong to let work silliness cross over and impact on the relationship.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I don't think you really understand sexual harassment.
Knowing that men feel free to value women only by appearance etc can make any woman feel uncomfortable, even if the one they are perving on seems to enjoy it.
There's no place for it in a modern workplace.
If the right to comment on tits and !!!!!! and the possibility of sex acts is so important to your freedom of speech why not start a club to do that in your leisure time, involving only consenting adults?Debt free 4th April 2007.

Who's being abusive?
If someone around you is saying things to offend you, walk away, simple as that! You can ask them to stop by all means but don't be surprised if people tell you where to go!0 -

Oh, another one from the fun pot!
I understand the difference between discussion between male colleagues/friends and acting on it (totally different matter!)
So, please don't insult my intelligence thank you very much.0 -
Out of curiosity, why are celebs different?
It really isn't that hard to meet celebrities if one were so inclined. It might be a little harder to meet specific ones but in various parts of the world I've been in the same place as a number of celebrities and spoken to a few.
well i very much doubt me and my OH would meet the celebs we are interested in (john cusack and cameron diaz) unless they came to newcastle :rotfl:0
