    :hello: hola everyone!

I would like to set a target of £300 for 2012 please

I am debating excluding a couple of bits... am going to get going to the gym more (yes... I am) so might exclude some new trainers if mine wear out later in the year, and my lingerie situation is dire so considering also excluding ONE set of bra and knickers, to be bought this month (really can't face the sales though...). After those items, £300 should definitely cover most eventualities! Hmm. Actually, I think I'll just put the trainers on the "excluded-from-the-challenge" list, as I don't want to cut corners with those, too much potential damage. Will inspire me to find a beautifully bargainous bra! :rotfl:

not that i should encourage you but la senza have a sale on, they are in administration tho so if buying online pay with paypal or a creditcard

Hello & welcome to all our new challengers,

Kellyjelly27, debbiedebt, hismissus, WelshDreamer, quintwins, Xandersmum, Pickle_99_uk, Hiddenidentity, thriftwizard & hello & welcome back to lotti379 :D

Regarding budgets; you can change your budgets whenever you like; I keep a list of members & their budgets on the second post of the first page, & can change this for you if necessary - either post in bold colour or send me a pm - but I don't keep a record of, or update all your spends, so you will probably like to display that in your signatures ... it'll help you remember what you have left & keeps you in check when everyone can see ;)

    Good Luck everyone :D
  • Can you put me and dd down for £75? please xx

It's mostly going to be footwear this coming year I think.

  • Good evening all, Lula Hula can I join the challenge please. After a relatively good 2010, 2011 saw me go crazy in the shops and ebay. Too scared to add up my total spend. Needless to say, if I lose a few inches from my mid-riff I shall have loads of things to wear.
Excluding spends on little son, my budget for the year is going to be £100
Any future spends have to be from charity shops or ebay. I have had a good look through winter and summer collections and there really is nothing that I need apart from a new swimsuit and some underwear - the M&S outlet will do for that.
I wish everyone the best and think with mutual support we can achieve our targets.
    Here's to not shopping.

  • Luckily I am stocked up for shoes for dd for the next 2 years hopefully! I am one of lifes 'preparers'! She has got clothes stored for the next X amount of years so its just odds and ends to get this year :j

For me on the other hand though... as soon as my boots go I'm stumped for anything on my feet bar slipper socks! but my last sandles lasted 7 years so £75 should cut it for everything :o

  • Hi

Can I please be added to the list?

My intention is to not spend on clothes this year, I am sure I can lose weight and wear clothes from the back of the wardrobe, just need to find the will power to stop eating rubbish! :rotfl:

Tomorrow, I am going to check out a 'clothing exchange' place I spied last week to see what the crack is :).

The only things I [STRIKE]might[/STRIKE] need to get are new undies!

Please put me down for £100, but intending not to be that much!
    new challenge?
