Well done supasick! What a great start!

As for me I'm staying away from the sales this week, might call in on Friday for a mozie around for a new belt, some new pairs of socks and maybe a new leather bag if I can find one but nothing else. Will see what's been left behind after the mad rush this week.

  • Could I join please? Target £150, but I will need new pyjamas and underwear this year as I will (hopefully) lose another 5 stone to go with the 4 stone for 2011. I have clothes in about 6 different sizes so I should be ok - will just ask for vouchers for birthday & xmas to cover any extra.

    Welcome, welcome all,

oldestgnome, youngmummy ( lovely to see you again :)), PurpleJay, greeneyedone & Chocolatedrinker - that's brilliant weightloss :D ... why I cant seem to just shift 20 little lbs I do not know :(

apologies if the numbers are a bit out of sync with your posts; I sometimes miss one if I'm posting, so have to go back, but I do write them all in a notebook where I'll be keeping records of my own spends ;).
  • Please can I join?
Not sure about setting a budget as I might be taking a pay-cut this year but there again might not and I plan to save some money and OP mortgage. If that goes to plan it will be £0 left for clothes but for me it's the discipline of thinking before I buy that I need to develop. As you'll see from my sig I am currently doing the 100 days challenge of buying no clothes and surviving that - but only with a lot of effort. For me setting a budget would encourage me to spend it - if you get me. If/when circumstances change, I might ask to have a budget added to my naME.

Well I didnt manage to get my wardrobe sorted today as I had other urgent stuff that needed to be done today, but did get alot of washing done and will sort out the wardrobe tomorrow as I definately wont have anything else on tomorrow, although I am out tonight with my workmates so not sure how much will actually get done.
Anybody liberated anything from the back of their wardrobes today?
  • Hi. Can I join please?

I don't buy many clothes and have no idea how much I usually spend in a year. But I have binges before the holidays and weight fluctuations(?) which are frequent!!!! I think £250 should cover everything as I wear uniform five days a week and joggers when I get home. Don't go out very much either so should manage on what I have already.

    Good Luck everybody.

By the way I am not much of a poster but I do read the threads regularly so I will keep up with everyones progress!

    Happy New Year Everyone.

    Hi Lula

You've 'shamed' me into being here again for 2012 - even though I was hopless in 2011 :o

Am going to go for £360 (£30 per month) for everything but will not include any vouchers/points/gifts etc

    Wish me luck :D
