Have to report a CS spend I'm afraid..... £4 on a pair of putty coloured linen trousers, a tad tight but as I am doing a healthy heart programme with OH am sure the weight will come off. Am dead happy with these trousers as I saw them hanging down below the other trousers and I got all excited, I tried them on and they seemed to be on on the floor (nice and long) so I said I would take them and see and they were fine, I have 35" inside leg so happy days
:D also got a deep red velvet skirt for £4 too, a bit steep but hey even that was long enough to cover me kneecaps!
Went into a 'vintage' clothes shop and had a snout about and realised that I need to look at my clothes in a different way (it was the way they put items together) and try stuff together which I hadn't tried before. It really got me thinking that most of the stuff I have bought previously is the same style of skirt/trouser/top/jumper/cardigan and the same colour ways (mine is sludge colours as I have blonde/red hair) with occasional colours thrown in so it all should, in theory, look good together.... maybe I'm learning doing this challenge because I am not spending..SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)

Can I join please,
I just checked my account and unfortunately I have spent a wapping £85.82 on clothes this year already. So I am going to aim for £200 max budget for the year.
I have a lot of clothes , but I seem to have 'grown' out of them , so its either them or the extra kilos have to go. :-)CC consolidated to £3400

Could I join please? Have been spending too much since I got an M&S credit card. They do give you points towards clothes every so often, but I'm going to try not to use it and pay cash. Decided I'm going to go back to my charity shop buying instead. I may be retiring next year so need to get out of the habit of buying clothes, and I really have plenty of them. Please put me done for £300. I've already spent about £50 in the sales. Did get a nice blouse for £1 and an brand new East necklace for 50p today in the charity shop today so that's a good start.0

aw everhopeful - big cyber hug to cheer you up. I generally tend to "be kind" to myself when I'm feeling like this, luxurious bubble bath, glass of wine, choc bar and a good book, face mask, toenails the works! Then I would have a sort out. Generally when I go through my wardrobe I find loads of things I have forgotten about and do a recky to see what goes with what - you'll be surprised with what you could do to spruce ur wardrobe up xDF as at 30/12/16

I've decided that every Friday I'm really going to make the effort to wear something I haven't given an airing to in years!
So today as well as my usual black top and big cardi for work I'm wearing a grey calf length skirt and a pair of black boots I haven't worn for ages. I actually feel like I've just bought them again!
Anyone else freeing some clothes from their wardrobe prisons today?LBM Feb 2005 - £36000:o DFD 28th May 2012
