McDonalds, the place where some folks go to get a "meal" that is served in a cardboard or polystyrene box inside a brown paper carrier bag. The hot drinks are served in cardboard cups with a wooden stick to stir in the sugar and milk.

And they think this is good!

I've got to admin, the wooden stick for the coffee is irritating, much rather have a plastic spoon.

But I don't really understand the rest of your points, whats the difference between McDonalds & Starbucks using cardboard cups; McDonalds and Pizza Express using cardboard boxes for food to go; McDonalds & Damons restaurant putting food in a paper bag.
Isn't the packaging they use pretty much standard across most restaurants/take aways/establishments?

    haha

But i'm also betting the places you eat in don't charge £3.69 and have your meal ready to go in minutes

Very true, however I prefer to wait a few minutes longer and have decent food served properly in relaxed surroundings and I am not talking about posh expensive places, rather than junk food in somewhere that resembles a mess hall. :)

I like McDonalds because it's just about the only place anyone with coeliac disease can eat an 'entire' meal. Anybody with food allergies is 'safe' in there because they have all the info on the back of the tray liner thingies.

I can't eat gluten (wheat, barley and oats) so KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut are all out, as well as other places such as Greggs. If I take my own bread, I can have almost everything on the menu. I can't get that in many other places.
'til the end of the line

If i like, i can eat my MacDonalds from a china plate and drink my Coke from a crystal glass, and my relaxing dining room has never resembled a mess hall thank you very much. :)

    McDonalds is very good.

Breakfasts are best - scrambled eggs, muffin and two hash browns - £2.39 incredible.

    Good for cheap, reliable food.

And good for their employees too.
