    I think you will find that chemicals are used in McDonalds food. For instance their coffee has a large percentage of H20 as well as caffeine compounds. Further dextrose and lactose can be added to taste.
    Last time I looked food is mainly a hydrocarbon compound!

  • I havent bothered to read all the thread but the things Mcdonalds excel at are research, customer service and marketing. They are a case study for those aspects of business. however, I think the food is gross. However, it just shows how powerful marketing and research are, and that there is no accounting for taste!

    Breakfast is about the only thing I'd let my son have and even then just a egg McMuffin.

    Ray Kroc himself said that he was not in the hamburger business, he was in the real estate business.

    Just think of all those prime real estate locations in London, LA, NY, Tokyo etc all paid for off the backs of franchisees.
