It's a science. Find out what people like and load up your product with it.

McD are certainly not the only people who are up to it.

And their food is nutritious and a reasonable element in a diet providing that you balance each instance of a McD with several low fat, low sugar meals with plenty of vegetables.

Although for general quality of product Burger King beat McD hands down.

I see all the normal inaccurate information is flying around. There is sugar in all bread it's part of the process itcannot be more than a minimal amount as otherwise the yeast won't work correctly.

As with most fast food an occasional burger isn't going to kill you. The processed food people eat at home does. more damage.

I can't see anything inaccurate in the sentence of mine you quoted.
The processed food people eat at home does. more damage.

Do you have any evidence of that or is it just something you made up and hoped no one would notice?

    Wrong.

They appeal to a lot of people by serving food that is quick, convenient and tasty.
  • McD's in Florence was heaving with teens, and no queueing system, however my brother and I have always been good at pushing our way in when we get chance :) McChicken sandwich was vile, but the McBacon Crispy was divine, never seen it anywhere else.

McD's in Lanzarote was amazing due to their airconditioning in the blazing midday sun, OH was happy, as an ex McD's employee they were selling his holy grail - the McRib and also a MegaMac which was huge (didn't try one they were too intimidating!).

McD's in Lyon was just the same as the one down the road.

The ones down the road are in a supermarket, shopping centre, city centre, and drive thru, my parents have just drive thru's near them.

Many days I have come of the motorway when stuck in traffic and nipped in to use the facilities, and then bought a drink with no problems. Same in the summer, one is near a race course, other near a paintball site we use, half an hour in their airconditioning for the price of a drink is fab! OH & younger brother are ex-employee's and very quick to go back when they think its not upto standard.

Don't actually eat there that much, once a month max, usually when rushing around and the day has gotten away from us and we MUST eat or keel over, but its good to know that they are their, ready and waiting! Saying that, I really, really like the sweet chilli wraps :rotfl:

I do find McDonalds to be good hangover food. If I'm working with a hangover and didn't have time to make a bacon sandwich, McDonalds it is, not the breakfasts though, I've gone off them. I wait until lunch and get a mcchicken sandwich or a quarter pounder or big mac meal. Hmm

I had a cheeseburger and small fries yesterday for £1.88. The fries were hot and golden, the burger was tasty. What's not to like about that?

You bought beef, which had been prepared and carries the relative overhead cost, for less than a pound

That doesnt concern you? You cant buy unprepared beef in a supermarket that cheap

That's where the fat and salt come in. ;)

Why would it concern me? Have you never heard of loss leaders?
