Why bother with the stupid example?
Im talking about online, where as you state different rules apply.

Why bother with the stupid complaint?!

For GAME to do what you want, they will have to get someone to check through your account, ensure you have paid for and recieved the goods, get authorisation for the refund (when most companies have sale targets etc). When they can just say return it if your not happy with the price you paid (though this isnt covered by the distant selling regs) And pay postage on something that theyve already paid postage for (GAME dont buy a first class stamp everytime they post, they have massive contracts set in place so they don't have to quabble over things like this)

Appologies you have been 'robbed' and disagree with GAME's 'crazy policies' though i think you'll find most retailers have these very same policies and i would suggest in future you do not look at the price of things you have already purchased

  • If you went into the store and bought the game and then went in a couple of days later and same game is in the sale, would you still demand the difference?

I hope it's out of stock after you've posted it back :) Very petty
  • Thanks for all your constructive comments :o

I thought this was a "vent" section on a "moneysaving" forum! Didnt realise my "vent" would have been regarded as stupid. I didnt come looking for advice, just to vent my displeasure at their policy.

Anyway, all send back and a new copy of the game ordered from elsewhere :)

Not demanding, I phoned up and asked to see if it could be done the easy way.

And yes, If I hadnt of opened the game I would have gone back into store and asked.

then my argument would still stand if you saw the game at a higher price, would you go back into the store and pay them the extra?
