    This seems really unlikely but, if it was true, being listened to would be the least of his worries!

    It is true, I know it sounds incredible but it really did happen. My son was worried about being listened to because he was more worried about the unconscious boy than himself.

    I was furious but he persuaded me not to complain because as he said, "I am aggravating mom." So not perfect but very perceptive.

    It doesn't really matter if you believe me, I can't prove it but I can't really see the point in making it up.

    ETA He wasn't a little boy, I think he was 17 at the time so not interested in mom going in to fight his battles.

  • In my experience, most grandparents seem to favour the grandchildren they see most often. I know this is an awfully sweeping statement to make, but for myself and my friends, it is true.
