I couldn't quite reach as the car I was parked next to was quite close, so had to twist to reach him. Then about 10 mins later I started feeling a twinge, then it got unbearable and since then it's gotten more and more painful.
How typical... I am in agony and I have a job interview on Tuesday.
And it's my birthday next week.
On the plus side - diet going well. Don't feel like eating in this pain.
Try a relaxing warm bath tonight and see if that helps.
Hope the interview goes well on Tuesday, glad the diet is going well .
Have a good birthday if I don't spot you again in the next few days and hope the family spoil you.
Take care

Well, another interview and another rejection, but I came so close. There were two jobs and I was third choice. I'm trying to look on that as a positive, but obviously I'm still here working where I don't feel wanted or needed any more. Ah well... that's the applications over for another year, and at least I do have a job which I am very grateful for.
I was SO tired when I got home yesterday though and OH went to football last night so I ordered pizza in for the kids - and yes I did have a slice, two days before weigh in... what a naughty woman.
Wish I didn't have such a busy day at work again today though... I could have used a lie in this morning, but only another 2 get ups before the hols. Surely I can keep going for that.
OH has been signed off sick another fortnight, and has a welfare meeting with his work tomorrow. Whether or not he goes remains to be seen but we'll see.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Sorry you didn't get the job, (and it was close) but at least you tried and will not have that feeling of what if?
You deserved the slice of pizza with the children and I'm sure it wont make any difference to the weigh in. Good luck with it .
As you say its nearly the weekend and some well earned time off for you (even though it will probably still be early with the children) but at least some of the pressure will be off.
Take care

Oh I can feel the mood lifting now! Only about 4 hours to go and then I'm done for a fortnight. SO EXCITED!
I cannot remember the last time that I was this desperate for a rest and some time off, but I really need it after this term. I was starting to worry that my migraine medication was starting to dull me off a little moodwise, as whilst I wasn't feeling stressed, I wasn't feeling very happy either.
Tomorrow is my birthday, and the first day of the holidays, and I can hardly wait!
Oh, and I weighed in on my diet - lost 5lbs this week which I'm thrilled to bits about.
YEAH!!!!!!:T:T:TNinja Saving Turtle0 -
:DDay one proper of the holidays, in that it's a day I'm normally at work and not the weekend. It's been reasonably productive, and a little bit mse.
OH didn't show his face before lunchtime today which is incredibly frustrating, but I was up and about by 7 this morning. Got ds off to nursery, then home and straight into being flylady for the morning.
Then dd and I went to a local cakemaker, and I am very excited to report that I've put my deposit down and ordered a wedding cake. Design still to be finalised, but it is ordered anyway. My dd was very keen on cakes that looked liked castles - needless to say I'm definite that I don't want one like that. I'm hoping to fit it in with the wedding theme but busy googling for a design I like.
Also finally made an appointment to meet my local florist to get a quote for the flowers. It's the one thing I've been dreading because I don't want fake flowers but I know how blimming expensive real ones are. Our budget is fairly tight as well.
And after a long 6 weeks I finally fixed dd's bed. She'd broken a plank and it's taken me that long to get out and get a piece of wood to fix it £6.
And I started trying to mark my Year 11 coursework but quickly got very depressed with that so that'll be something I need to keep coming back to over the fortnight.
I'm quite pleased with how much I've gotten done actually.

Another, not brilliant day...
Here in north east England we're just getting the brunt of the snow that has travelled down overnight from Scotland. Thanfully it's not lying but it is windy and wild out there, which means I've been pretty much trapped indoors today. I did venture out to my local town centre with OH (I make him go out at least once a day for the fresh air - very fresh today), and popped to BM for sweets promised to the kids - came out £18.83 lighter... but a lot of that was grocery related so it should pay itself back over. It did remind me though how easy it is to rack up a big bill (and there wasn't a single thing in that basket for me). I'll do that and update siggy... (edit: it was ALL grocery stuff, I'm including the kids Easter eggs as groceries)
Wedding related stuff I did today was to finally order my sweets to make my sweet tree centrepieces. I'm getting Lindt Lindor, but have been waiting for them in the colour I need (blue), and a lovely seller on ebay is selling me 100 for £35. That should do all of my trees with the stuff I already have, meaning my trees should come in at about £60 in total for 8 - rather than the £35 each I was quoted. Let's just hope I'm artsy enough to do it.
Finally have persuaded OH to commit to a trip out to get a suit hire tomorrow. Fingers crossed he sticks with it.
I've done the basic flylady, and my washing, but unfortunately the drier has had to go on - I don't have enough radiator and airer space to keep up with it today. Ah well.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Wel one on the wedding centrepieces. very moneysaving, im sure they will be lovely.
Easter eggs do count as groceries, that what i tell mysef anyway.
Its very rainy and windy today in the midlands, how is it for you?PAD Maker0 -
Blimming freezing.
The rain/snow has gone but it's still really windy. I'm trying to get OH out of bed because he's promised me that today is the day we get the suits sorted out. I'm not gonna believe it till it happens, but I may be back here later with good news. As he's currently refusing to wake up I'm not hopeful.
Been to see my sister this morning. Lovely company and not a penny spent.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
I am back later with good news. The suit hire is sorted and deposit paid...
Finally... just need to get him to choose a best man now. Apparently we can add more people on to the order as we need to.
Feel really pleased about the amount of wedding related stuff I've gotten done this week. I'm seriously thinking of posting out the invites this week because then I can start working on other stuff related to actual numbers coming to the daytime (like seating, place cards favours etc).
Less progress on the Year 11 marking - I've done about a third. But slowly and surely I'm getting there.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Really pleased to hear OH came out to get the suit started. Baby steps all the way.
Well done on the Lindt items sounds lovely.
As far as the marking goes a third is better than none so pat on the back deserved :T
Hope the weather improves a bit for you all tomorrow and enjoy the next few days
