Has anyone got a recipe for truffles please?

I can't remember who it was asking but if you put Jar lids in the oven they pop back so when you seal a jar when you open it, it will 'pop' when it is opened as a gift!
  • The lids are already on and the jars are sealed. I'm just not the most imaginative person when it comes to this sort of thing so I need ideas to inspire me. :o I just want to hide the print on the sides of the jars.

Is the print on the jar or on the lid?
  • Woops! I meant that the print is on the side of the lid. I think I'll just have to stick some fabric on with double sided tape :o and hope it doesn't get damp in peoples' fridges. :rotfl:

Taking responsibility one penny at a time!
  • I made cake pops for my team at work - they went down a treat :-)

Or you could paint the lid or use coloured electrical tape to cover the writing then attach the topper in the normal way so it doesn't have to go in the fridge.
  • Lei-armstrong, those cake pops look amazing!

    So far I have made:
Puff pastry mince pies (look a bit weird, but taste ok!)
    Damson vodka
    Scottish tablet

Still to make: (i.e. tonight and tomorrow!)
    Christmas cupcakes
    Gingerbread houses
Spiced lentil soup for Xmas day
    Vegetarian chilli for Xmas Eve
Potato salad for Xmas day evening (mum is doing the main meals, so these last three are my contributions!)

So I'd better go and get a move on!!!!
