Personally I think they will bill you for £125 and bow out altogether.
I don't mean to be doom and gloom but please don't get your hopes up regarding them doing much for you.0 -
From some posts yesterday it would seem that we have a batch of companies offering to claim back your bank charges. May I suggest before engaging any company like this ask who they are regulated by and which solicitors do they use. If they are not regulated treat them with extreme caution as you will have nowhere to fall back on if anything goes wrong. If they say we do not use solicitors and are not solicitors themselves DO NOT use them as they are not legally allowed to handle litigation and certainly not allowed to charge for it. The conduct of litigation is a reserved activity under the Courts and Legal Services ActAs I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0

I should also have said If they are said you may wish to pay safe and check with hte body they say that regulates them that they are regulated by that body.As I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0

Hi
The company phoned again and this time we have their name and website
https://www.totalrefund.co.uk this is the companies web site, and they also gave us this site to go on: www.claimsregulation.gov.uk totalrefunds auth no., : CRM 4579
Has anyone used this company to claim their bank charges. They are still saying they can get your charges for you in less than 10 weeks as they go by a different route. Is there an expert from Martin's Money who could check this company out?
Hi
Last week my partner had a phone call from a company saying they could claim his bank charges for him for a one off payment of £49. They said he wouldn't have to wait for the court case to go through and they could get his money back in 8 to 10 weeks. Has anyone else had this call? Has anyone used a company to get their money back quicker?0 -
Don't touch with a barge pole, this simply isn't true.0

6 Months Ago I Applied With Bcs a Company Who Contacted Me, To Claim My Charges Back, They Sent Me A Letter To Say That I Was Owed £2,711.76 With Interest, 3 Weeks Ago The Alliance And Leicester Offered £900 Which Bcs Rejected, I Phoned Them Yesterday For An Update And Spoke To Someone, Today I Noticed That My Bank Had Charged Me £93 For Un Authorised Overdraft, I Tried To Phone Them Today And All Of The Phones Are Dead, So I Am A Little Worried And Not Sure What To Do Next, Do I Claim Myself Or Wait To See If Its Just A Blip With Bcs. I Forgot To Mention They Take 25% Of Charges Recovered.0

You should avoid these vultures at all costs. 25% of your bank charges is horribly high, and within 6 months they have not managed to get your bank charges back. You could have done this quicker and better yourself. The problem is that your claim will most likely be stayed now due to the OFT test case so they won't be able to do much for you now anyway. Read the smallprint of your contract with them and try to get out of it.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
