Hi Edinburghlass you seem to know your stuff so can I ask you, do you know if Lloyds will communicate with a third party as I read the post about Barclays and now am concerned cos I'm using a no win no fee company to get back about 4k. I know the message here is DIY but they only take 10%, thanks in advance for your help

You don't need a lawyer to reclaim your bank charges. You can do it all yourself.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Why let them make money out of the banks too! :rotfl:
ps Err just thinking, who would pay a solicitor if the case didn't get to the small claims court (ie bank settle before hand) because I'm sure the bank wouldn't want to pick up the bill! I'm guessing that you'd have to pick up the £5,000 fee out of your £100 claim, as it would have been you that instructed them!
(sorry that was a fictional example and not directed to anyone within this thread)Got It & Spent It :dance:IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)On Hold :mad:A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)0 -

WITCH BANK CHARGES RECLAIM COMPANY TO USE ?
I have had a go at calming bank charges from abbey with out any sasses to date
I have got hold of my statements' for abbey and for my two Lloyds accounts.
and have sent letters off with no luck
I see that their are now many bank reclaim company out their who will do the work for you and know their way round the legal bit of the law
can any one recommend a good company out their ?
I know that they charge for their services 20 to 25 % of the total re-claim but that the price i will have to pay
so any good or bad info would be of some help
because you have to remember you are letting them see all you bank statement and all that could involved
thank you all

When you win, you will get your court costs for filing the claim reimbursed by the bank as well. The bank's solicitors will not turn up at the court date anyway, if it ever gets that far, and you can get all the info you need to go to court here without having to pay a lawyer. You are perfectly entitled to represent yourself, and these are open and shut cases.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
