The advice from the people on this board has been consistent and the posts in relation to licit legal illustrates why I have said you should only used a regulated company if at all. I am only puzzled as to why the OFT has not intervened or am I being stupid. As I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0

On doing a google search it would appear that licit legal are authorised under the claims management regulations to handle claims dealing with Financial products and services. If anyone is dissatisfied with thier service they should lodge a complaint with www.claimsregulation.gov.ukAs I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person0

"your legal team" would be one of those companies reclaiming your charges for you? Bad idea but anyway. I am guessing you are talking about Lloyds TSB, they have a standard goodwill gesture of £750. They need to know that you are only accepting this as part payment and without prejudice and will continue claiming for the rest. Not every court case gets automatically stayed but the risk is high that it will be and you will have to wait until the test case is over.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -

Wonder where they got my mobile number from?!
I just had a missed call from the same people. I didn't recognise the number so ignored it. When I googled the number, I found this post. Am pleased now I didn't answer, but am wondering how they got my number.0 -
Hello, I am currently reclaiming by bank charges through the ombudsman service but today i recieved a phone call from ******** who told me for a one off fee of £49.95 they could take lloyds TSB to court for me and get me the full amount i'm owed (£2300) in 6-10weeks! I just wanted some advice about what to do as i don't want to be conned and ruin any chances of reclaiming my money from the FOS.
Please can someone give me any advice?

This simply isn't true and you would be wasting £50, especially as the court fees alone for your claim would be more than £50.0 -
For many of you using Licit Legal I have finally been paid my bank charges from HSBC after 8 months in full obviously minus their fee, which was 25% + vat. I was getting worried after an email was sent to me stating that the banks were going to wait for a court ruling before paying out, which could in pheory take another 2 years, after contacting Licit Legal I was informed this was a new email for all brand new clients and other clients showing incomplete on their files who havent actually been paid their full amounts (EG the bank had paid Lecit legal and they were waiting for the 10 days for it to clear before forwarding it on.If had know about this site back in January I would definitely advise like many others to do the work yourself and save the hefty fee.At the time when I started this I felt like if I get anything back for doing nothing it would be a bonus and in some ways it is. If anyone would like their new address I would be quite glad to post it on here.I beleive the phone number has been posted in a previous thread.0
