Hun, just to say things can look a lot more bleak if you're feeling really under the weather. I agree looking for any live-in job. Are you eligible for any job seekers benefits, TBH if you are, even though I can understand you not wanting to rely on them, you could save up for taxi to interviews and other costs that might make things easier to get out.
I get jobseekers allowance which is ok but doesn't go very far, I think my Nan would help if I couldn't get to an interview though.0 -
What would have happened with the compost lid if you had just said, 'I'm feeling really ill and you will have to wait until I feel better for me to get it off for you, otherwise you can try it again yourself'?
Just wondering whether being a bit less willing to do things might mean they start to rely on you less, or whether you would just be seen as a trouble-maker?
I'd be seen as a trouble maker and called selfish so it isn't worth it. I did refuse to take the hoover upstairs though as didn't fancy falling back down them, It is a heavy upright one.0 -
you have pain in your chest and feel your heads going to explode? sweety, ring NHS direct for advice. chest pain is NEVER good! esp in a young person.
Please? to set my mind at rest - will you ring them now?
It may take a while for a call back from an NHS nurse if they are busy - but I am going to stay here until you post back! I am worried about you!
Going to call my friend he was a medic in the RAF so will be able to give me some advice, I had glandular fever last year which he was able to advise me on over the phone until I could get to the doctors.0 -

Did your dad stab people?
No, but my stepmother does and threw pans through windows, etc etc, she has bipolar and my poor Dad is terrified of her and not allowed to see anyone.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -

Ok, so what you're dealing with is a completely different situation than the OP, and while I feel for you its not really comparable or relevant, is it?
Some dads are lovely, some are awful, you don't have to be grateful for the awful ones just because they exist.0 -

Indeed you don't, some parents are extremely toxic and you are best away from them. OP are you still there? You are not useless but you are clearly very unhappy, sending you hugs and strength, please stay on the line. Did you call the NHS line yet?Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -

Called my medic friend, he thinks it is my sinuses as I was very blocked up last night which would explain the headaches. I'm waiting for a call back from NHS but he thinks I should take paracetamol and make an appointment tomorrow.
He thinks the chest pain sounds more to do with me sleeping raised last night and might have a chesty cough as I'm not coughing anything up etc.0 -
