:rotfl:Well, she promised us £50 cheque for the phone calls..no sign of that yet and it's nearly a month now
  • I am having the same issue. Got my offer letter dated the 22nd and the interest was calculated to the 10th Jan but still no payment..... Rang nearly every day and i have just been into a branch and asked them to ring and they did and they advised me that it has not been 28 working days so they are not able to push it through!!!! WHY CALCULATE INTEREST TO A DATE THEN????? Why could the customer service advisors not tell me this when i tang up? A nice letter of compliant will be getting sent and also i will be withdrawing any accounts that i have with Lloyds also.
  • Afternoon everyone!

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's helped out by not naming staff members on here since we asked.

We've just had to remove a few more following a request but it's not as many as previously.

Thank you and Happy New Year :)

Well I have actually received a reply to my email! my email went as follows.

I am writing to complain about the length of time it is taking to process my PPI complaint.
My complaint was acknowledged in May 2011, I received my offer letter on 8th sept 2011. I have phoned several times to find out what is happening with my claim and I am sick and tired of being told different things. I spoke to somebody just after Christmas and they told me that the money would be in my account within 2 weeks. I phoned again to be told that it had been recalculated and to check my bank daily. On the strength of being told that I would receive my money within two weeks, I booked a holiday. If I don't have the money in my account within 5 days I am going to lose my money as I will have no choice but to cancel my holiday.
I am appalled at the length of time it is taking to sort this out, especially when other people who have received their offer after mine have already been paid what they are owed. It is just not good enough.
If I have to cancel my holiday, I will be forced to speak to my local MP and I will go to the press about this. It is not fair giving people misleading information .

I hope to hear from you very soon

This is the reply I got!

    Hmmmmm doesnt really help!
  • I sent the following email on the 6th of jan to the ppi customer relations team still no reply just compound what i wrote to them really

    Dear sir/madam,
i recieved my offer letter dated the 23rd dec 2011 offering me £3753.46 via a cheque and saying i needed to do nothing to accept this offer
my ref no is CC/xxxxxxx and it was on the loan 10xxxxxxxxx My name is xxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx bournemouth xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I rang the same day to tell whoever involved i do accept this offer, i have since called the number provided 3 times just to be told they cant say what stage my claim is at and when i will get my money. i feel this is particularly evasive firstly why not send your customers an acceptance letter so they know you are dealing with thier claim and secondly be able to provide some basic information on when their payment will be made when they call you . all i seem to get is the same disinterested people saying they cant comment on timescales etc i would like to know when my payment is likely to be released and when i should expect it.
    kind regards annette xxxxxx

grammatically correct NO to the point YES these jokers are a law unto themselves nine days and still no email response perhaps i will see if lloyds have a carrier pigeon post box address.
A cheque in the hand is worth two at lloyds tsb:eek:
  • Update. No payment received today. Am I shocked? Not really. Dissapointed? Yes as it was gauranteed to me between the 13th and 16th Jan.

    ...
  • Morning all.

Just felt that i would share the following to try and give some people help and hope.

June 10 - rang Lloyds to complain about ppi being miss sold.

2 weeks later letter aknowledging complaint. I made no contact to Loyds after that date unitil

22nd September - letter confirming miss selling. I replied with the included letter in regards to accepting payment in full and final offer in the form of a cheque.

22nd November - 2 letters with details on my claim and how much i would recieve, interest calculated to the 13th Dec.

This is then where the fun starts, no payment made within the "28 days".

I made weekly calls to the number given on Lloyds website from the 6th Dec.

Every time i called i was given various information which now i feel was never right in the first place.

On the 5th of Jan i got annoyed that the person i was speaking too couldnt even understand what i was asking so asked to speak to her supervisor, which i did but got no joy in dates or when it would be paid etc etc etc.

12th Jan rang and told my payment had been with the refund department since the 28th Oct, by this time i had started to just give up and began to start the thought of not ringing again and just leaving the refunf to come in due course.

13th Jan, got home to find a letter dated 10th Jan from Lloyds apologising for the delay and stating i would get an extra £7.64 interest!!

Logged in the bank this morning and hey presto, my refund :)

Now im not sure if the calls helpped or it has just happened in due course.

Hope this waffle helps people and can give hope to those waiting.
