    Start your own thread. This thread isn't really relevant, it's for security application usage. Also give what email client you use. The exact settings will be dependant on the application you use.

    On my laptop running Windows Vista, I use Symantec Antivirus. I was given a free licence from my University :-D

    I don't have a software firewall as I run behind a wireless router that has an inbuilt hardware firewall.

    To rid myself of spyware and the likes, I run the free version of Adaware every now and again
  • I only use a free one since I can't afford right now to buy an expensive one... You see I live in the Philippines so things like that is quite expensive in here... :j

    can i delete temporary windows files and temporary internet files with kaspersky? i know i can with windows itself but it never catches them all and when i had norton i used to use that after deleting with windows to get rid of the rest.

    as kaspersky does not optimize the disk is there anything else i can use to do this?

    does kaspersky not do it then? it may work better but it isnt as straight forward to use as norton was.

    I use Trend IS 2009 and antispyware both sits in taskbar stopping anything before it does any damage
