  • I use McAfee - fantasic locks me down for all issues.

    Used NOrton - terrible - AVG also not strong enough for online gaming

    Also have Xoftspy for spyware
    Registry Mechanic for Reg checks

    Spyware Killer: Spyware Terminator (Best), Adaware, Spybot, Spyware blaster and Windows Defender (Microsoft)
    Firewall : Used to have sygate but found Zone alarm better( Personal edition)

  • Have used Norton antivirus for three years been great but i am getting about 50 spams a day using Mailwasher Pro but will have to pay for it shortly anybody got a clue how to stop this spam.

    Hi for the last 2 years I have been using pcpitstop its free and it analizes your computer and not only tells you whats wrong it also tells you how to fix it, if you have all checkered flags you computer is a winner, a red flag means you have a problem you need to fix pronto, but as I said it tells you how to do it, and a yellow flag inicates you need to sort it out but its not urgent, since using pcpitstop my computer has run sweet as a nut https://www.pcpitstop.com/

    My comp came with hmmm Norton security suite installed, seems to cover all the areas and does most of the work for me!

    I found this little guide quite handy, it contains a guide to privacy and some security tips. Written by a friend.
