This McAfee is really getting me down now, only because I don't know what it is telling/asking me.

It now says "Potentially Unwanted Program Detected. Name is Adware-WebSearch and to remove this program.

    I haven't gone on a web site called Adware-WebSearch!!!

Does anyone know what this means and what I should click on please?

    My choices are:-
    Remove this program
    Trust this program
    Close this alert

I would be inclined to close the alert if nobody answers me. So please do hurry anybody who has the time to reply.

    Thanks AlienRik

I have removed as you said.

Won't downloading Malwarebytes interfere with my McAfee?

Oh my God i have hundreds. I have saved it but not "Remove Selected". You said to put the log here. How do I do that please? I have just had to take a tablet for a big headache no kidding.

I have just gone to cut and paste it on here, but it has my full name on it in parts.

Have removed selected , it said not all had been removed and closed down pc and restarted. I didn't read it properly when i shut all programmes down. You said to do a full scan but i only did the quick scan. Will this be sufficient do you think?

How often do you do this scanning please?
May i say a big thank you for helping me.

Open malwarebytes and goto LOGS . Copy and paste the log (Split into sections)

Now the name thing is upto you but im pretty sure WHATEVER your name is there will be literally hundreds of you throught the british isles so I cant see it being a problem personally (Your call, but it would be useful to see the log)

Then/or UPDATE and run a FULL scan

(See what I mean about Mcafee not being so good)

You missed the top of the log of so I cant see what definition files you ran (currently 2074)
Nothing else I can advise as I dont know what was found save SUPERANTISPYWARE due to mcafee stopping the MYWEBSEARCH thingy

Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/
    UPDATE and PERFORM COMPLETE SCAN
(Then goto console and LOGS and post the log it created then untick it from STARTING UP WITH WINDOWS)
