    Well I use various lists and articles to compare. If ive never heard of one its VERY likely to be a bit cr*p
    But regardless, I did ask how you KNOW its good?

    The best security measures you can take is to switch to linux, inherently safe and not targeted by theives since most people use windows therefore all virus/spyware/etc is targeted at windows.

    For linux users, sitting behind a router or running a firewall should make a virtually unbreakable machine

    I'd use the term unnoticed rather than breakable if people could be bothered to write invasive programs then they would but your right. You may as well go for the bigger target.

    Exactly, in the use of servers it's the opposite way around, Linux is hacked into far far more than Windows. So little to do with it being "inherently more secure". I can account to that personally.

    Do you use it? Someone posted on here last month and they said its even worse!
    Yes I use it, I used Kaspersky last year because of the Norton being slow as I had used Norton the previous two years. The reason I went back to Norton was a friend of mine had said Norton had changed for the better,and so far I have had no problems with it being slow.

    One day I will get my BSD laptop working properly with wireless and flash. That will become my travelling laptop for use away from home.

  • I'm ditching the free anti virus scanners because if you look about on Google Shopping you can get Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 OEM which you can install on up to three machines for around about a tenner.

    The vendors I've seen selling it for that price;

    CCL Online
    Overclockers
    Scan

    A tenner is just throw away money for a years subscription..
