things i noticed wont allow me to shop using quidco
this morning wanted to book £9.50 sun holidays but it kept sending me to the first page after i entered codes etc..
tonight went on my old pc and it let me do it but the dates and place we wanted to go are not available now:mad: and i used quidco the other day on old pc
anyone now what the problem is?
should i put some other security on laptop?

It seems however, that OpenSuse does have its own application called SuseFirewall2. From a quick scan of the documentation this seems to be a wrapper application for iptables.

To be honest, I haven't used either as I am happy with the protection from my router. Hope this helps...
Thanks. I want a firewall as it's my travelling laptop and it's a dual boot OpenSuse and PC-OS (an Ubuntu derivative so has it's own firewall by default). I use it in hotels and pubs which have free wi-fi so I trust my own stuff but not everyone elses. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

A quick read of this forum would suggest you're mistaken.
Zone alarm is OK, and Ad-Aware and Spybot are pretty good, though I'd suggest trying Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and SuperAntiSpyware.
As for AVG, it seems to be the worst of the free anti-virus solutions. I'd recommend Avira AntiVir or Avast instead. Many have been surprised by what they find lurking on their computer that AVG totally missed.0 -

Agreed that AVG seems to have some problems, plus the popups reminding me to upgrade are rather annoying..
On the plus side, doesn't seem to slow my system a much as Norton does.Crunching Deals since 19850 -

The best security measures you can take is to switch to linux, inherently safe and not targeted by theives since most people use windows therefore all virus/spyware/etc is targeted at windows.
For linux users, sitting behind a router or running a firewall should make a virtually unbreakable machineMortgage £120K, monthly overpayment £600, 18 years and £100K saved0
