    Hi Grannybroon
I've tried one of those sonic ones and dd's hair is so fine it doesn't work properly ,she's allergic to the bites when they bite her she looks like she's been bitten by a load of mozzies and they get infected that's why it annoy's me so much when the other mums don't bother I'm using hedrin at the mo as it's chemical free they don't get immune to it
but thankyou for thinking of us
    pam xx

    Edited to say thanks Crazychick
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

    Morning everyone.
I'm not supposed to be here today as I work on a Thursday, but the cold I thought I was getting yesterday has turned into 'THE VIRUS' that everyone else has had or still has! So I'm fed up, as I had planned loads of fun stuff to do at school today!
I managed to help DH get the children ready for school and he dropped them off at the child-minder's. I've also chucked some food into the sc so at least they'll have a decent meal to come home to.
I thought I'd come on here (wrapped up in my fleecy blanket) to catch up on the threads. I enjoyed putting faces to names on the 'who's who' thread and if I can find a (half-decent) photo of me I'll post mine.
    Have a good day everyone.

Felling very virtuous, as well as a clean car, I decided to run round with the leather and clean all the downstairs windows of the house and the 2 cottages. I'm worn out! Washing on line, but there is a bit of fine drizzle so I hope it doesn't get worse.

As far as nits are concerned, we have used the conditioner & nit comb method which is tedious but effective. Someone told me to put a couple of drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle with some water and spray it on your kids heads before they go to school. Neem oil is meant to be really good too, so the kids conditioner has that it. Touch wood, so far so good....:T

I have washing on line as it is a good drying day.

Managed to find a ham shank so have that and onions, carrots, potatoes and soaked dried peas in the slow cooker as a special treat for DH.

;) He loves the stuff and would eat it half cooked if I let him lol.

Might go out later to York but it is getting a bit late to set out now.

    Happy birthday and happy anniversary

My quiet day is done and dusted, I've just had to pick DD up from school, she's had an allergic reaction to something and her eyes are all swollen up and her neck is all red. I've just given her some Piriton so we shall see if it settles down. Oh joy, Balamory is now on the telly :(
