Hi All
Just a quick one today
I'm going to a film premiere this evening. My guest has let me down at the last minute, so I'm searching for someone else, but not having any response yet!
Mum's still in a lot of pain and I'm not getting any sleep at the moment, so I'm really knackered
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Well am back, and survived the vet trip!(just about) So as I had a intresting morning I'm now goin gto bore you all senceless(sorry! DH VERY happy as it saves him getting the full rundown!) Fergal loaded himeslf bless him, he was waiting in the cat carrier curled up as good as gold. Lucy I grabbed and lowered her in tail first(she is HUGE and can have something of a tude) Rupert I just shoved in no problem. Livingstone slept all through this I just kind of cuddeled him amd placed him in it before he was really aware of what was going on.(wish I'd had GOOD earplugs though). Trip reasonably uneventful and vets empty. Lucy has lost some more weight and has a slight snuffle her temp is slightly raised. Fergal also has raised temp but a clear chest, his glands are slightly up. Rupert again has a slightly raised temp and sore eyes(he is prone to eye problems anyway). Poor Livingstone, his glands are up, he has a chest infection and a very high temp. They were all really good and even when they had a themomoter shoved up their bum(execpt Lucy-gauntlett time) didn't make a fuss. They have all had injections (Livvy had 2) Rupe has eye drops; Fergal, Rupe, Luce and Livvy have tablets (Livvy has 2 lots) Have also got tablets to give to Phoebe. i will NOT be posting on the DFW what have you spent today thread!!!! ARRGH 5 injections;;1 eye drops; tablets x6 (Rupe's are special as he has a list of allergies as long as your arm)PLUS Lucys food was in; I needed Frontline(buy it every month and is the best I have ever used) and I as was going to get the Drontal next week it seemed silly not to pick them up at the same time(8-Lucy has 2!)I felt sick when I saw the bill! But needed to be done. Am going to hit the gin now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(joking honest!) So thats MY morning.Am going to get breakfast/lunch now. Sorry for being sooooooooo boring!!! Will do better. When I was at school I wanted to be a vet wish I hadn't changed my mind!Just think of all the money I'd have saved!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone is well, happy and not as poor as me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a good afternoon afternoon everybody.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

annie, you do know you can get Frontline and Drontal without prescription now? I buy all mine off the internet and it is half the price that you would pay from the vet.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Hi again all
:grouphug: to all those who need it.
Meeting with boss went ok and he has persuaded me to go back to gp and get more time off work. Suggests I have next week and half term off and return on the 19th. He's also arranged that one of my duties 'on call' will be done by someone else so that I am not tearing all round the school. Seems like my classes are all okay so I should stop worrying about them. Will need to see Occupational Health though about how I can manage my job and my health problems...apparently they are quite supportive and helpful.....I hope.
Am waiting for someone through freecycle to pick up a box of various items and then I need to get to post office to post book sold through Amazon and then to Sains to get new watch strap. Strap at the moment is slowly falling apart and I'm in danger of losing the watch. Seen a really lovely green one that I'm going to treat myself to.
Then its back home to make tea [curry] and start sorting the bedrooms...really fed up with the mess up there......just hope I have the energy to at least get started.
take care everyoneWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -

Sorry to be stupid and I know we are not suppose to post such info but is there any chance that you could let me know where you get it from(perhaps you could PM me?)I can't believe how much my("page!!) invoice came to! No wonder they send us a Christmas card!moggins wrote:annie, you do know you can get Frontline and Drontal without prescription now? Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them!
Busyish day today. Work has been hectic and I'm back here for the evening shift although my boss doesn't know...he's out on a surprise 50th birthday jolly!
OS today has been bed making, swept floors, hoovered through out and general speedy tidy round. Loved the fish and chips last night. Tonight we've got freezer dip wrapped in leftover tortillas. Errm should be interesting.
A very happy Imbolc to all those who celebrate!

Hello all, really sorry no time to read thread but just wanted to pop on and wave to everyone. Manically busy at work so had better not spend time on MSE - hours just fly by otherwise!

Annie, it all came from a thread started by Martin himself called the Great Moneysaving Pet something, I used a link from that thread to buy frontline first and found it a great site and very reliable.

You can also order stuff on prescription from them, the vets now must give you the prescription if you ask for it and then you can order it online.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
