Thanks Freeby I will have a look at that one.
I am joining a few challenges but I just need to remember which ones I have joined and make sure I actually stick to them!
I am finding penny catching quite easy as its something physical I can see and can see the progress I am making as my prison fills up. Not sure what to do once I reach capacity though, I don't think any of my pennies are going to be ready for release back in to the community for a long while yet!0 -
My bank doesn't have a change paying in machine like some do (see if yours does) and I sure as h3ll ain't gonna put it in one of the counting machines at the supermarket for them to take their percentage
So what I plan to do is, when my 'dross jar' is full go and get a little shop and stand at the self service checkout and feed it all in
:rotfl: I may be there some time :rotfl:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
I think I may take all my little criminals down to the bank and pay them in to my overdraft.
I just want to see the cashiers face when I hand over bags of little copper offenders to pay towards the large overdraft!0 -
Ohhhhhhh how brave, I'm too scared of the people in my bank
They'll look down their noses at me and drag me off into a room to give me a 'financial review' but what they really mean is 'what the bloomin' heck have you been playing at' and then shout at me a lot :eek:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Ah, but if I am GIVING them money rather than taking it then surely they will be pleased
Even if it is bags of little criminals that they are going to have to count (which is why I would take it to the cashier rather than use the machines).
Maybe it is my little way of getting my own back on the bank whilst also feeling a little smug, MWAHAHA! :cool:0 -
katy, beware!, most bank's will only accept 5 bag's of change at a time, but they are prety good at letting you have empty money bags if you ask. hth£71.93/ £180.000

I like the sound of this thread - count me in.
850,000 pennies (give or take) until I'm debt free
Doesn't sound quite so good that way round...
Still, every penny paid off it is a penny less to keep me awake at night (who needs sheep eh :rotfl:)Search for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary... Updated daily (ish...)Challenges 2012:Sealed Pot 5: #15832 Stone / 2 Grand / 4 Months: Start 02/01/12 - 0st 6lb / £1028.47 - End 01/05/120 -
