Snap - found a penny on the way to work this morning. It's joining a depleted colony in the jar today as I had a count up over the weekend and released 700 pennies from the jar - but only as far as the credit card bill:)

the pennies were out in force yesterday at Chessington world of adventures, as I managed to capture 28p worth. They are now having a new adventure at my house in a big whiskey bottle.

500 pennies captured in voucher form from a lady knocking at the door to do a survey.

I checked and it is all legit too!

(Apparently I had a letter saying she was coming to do a survey a month back, must have missed it )

Ooooh not long now till I can count those pennies and bank them

My silvers prison has been dipped in to quite a few times over the year, and the coppers prison got emptied and banked about 6 months ago when it was full, so I am not that hopeful of having captured millions!

Looking forward to emptying my 5p whiskey bottle though, that is filling up nicely.

Now, if I empty and count on New Years day, do I bank or do I keep and use as a start for the New Year?

This is the one challenge I have managed to keep up with throughout my recent lapse.

I am now returning to the DFW board hanging my head, but also proud to announce that during my lapse I have managed to fill and empty my coppers jar twice (not sure that makes up for things, but I need to motivate myself to think I can change things, even in a small way!)

How wrong is it to wander through the arcades and rescue the pennies that have fallen on the floor or been dished out by the machines and gone unclaimed....?

Over £1 rescued so far!
