Hi all I am not sure whether kissjenn has ever been on the Matrix, but could you all keep her in your thoughts the next few days as she is due to have major surgery.
I hope she doesn't mind me posting this, but felt the more positive vibes the better.
In other news got my coffee table at least home to the house. My lovely mum bought it for me and OH in the end. I had been umming and ahhing about if for a couple of weeks. But it will fit very well in the spot I want it for..... when I get it upstairs that is....

Hi, when you say 'the blog' do you mean MFI3? I thought I used to get notice when something had been posted on there, but haven't for ages or was that 'Things can be simpler'? Do you still use that one? I have looked at both and am not sure if I am totally up to date on the posts on them!

Tenmah - probably best to raise questions over the other side. We're not allowed to 'promote' our own or other people's blogs on MSE...
Meant to get my tyres changed over today but have been waiting in for a delivery. So I've tidied and hoovered the sitting room, bubble wrapped the front door glass and sorted some shredding to take into the office (must do expenses...). I have also out up a few decorations and called the handyman about the utility room and garden.
Bet the delivery arrives while I'm on the phone for work...
Have also mind-mapped one whole paper and started mapping others. Might go and try to get this one drafted while it makes sense0 -
Got a question for you ladies.
The storm has blown some harling off the gable end of our property. The downstairs neighbour has been up shouting the odds about how dangerous it could be - and it could if some fell on them as they were walking to their door.
Obviously there is nothing I can do here and now in the middle of a storm - but I don't know what I should do first? Should I call the solicitor and find out how the exterior works are shared out? Should I call MY insurance company, should I contact the four parties who share the building and suggest we all contact our insurance companies?
The thing is I can't really afford to instigate works if I am going to be left holding the bill IYSWIM?

I'm not sure MG - try the 'in your home' boards... Look at your mortgage paperwork as you should have a copy of the deeds and any covenants and details of the way any shared freehold works. And in the meantime, can anyone put up a 'Danger' notice or something? Can the guys in the pub help you out?0

Guys in the pub are long gone - high winds stopped play. All titles are at the solicitor - and they can't seem to lay their hands on them at the moment.
Downstairs neighbour is insisting its all down to me to fix - hey ho!!! No money no fix.

Ask solicitors to copy all the information so you have your own copy at home when they finally find it. Or you could ask your neighbour to provide you with a copy of his paperwork
And I'm sure you'll find a way to get it sorted. Do you have a long ladder, nails and hammer? :cool:0
