Made a start on the order of service, and it is going quite well. Had another load of sympathy cards through the mail. It is so lovely that so many people are caring for us and thinking of us. Makes my eyes leak (though they do not need much encouragement at the moment!)

I need to go into the Doctors surgery in a bit. The doc gave me the wrong prescription for my anti-depressants and seeing as I am managing okay at the moment, I don't want to go up to 20mg dose, when I was on the 10mg dose and it was working out okay. So off to see if I can persuade the doc of that fact! While we are in town we are going to see if we can get some green and gold ribbon (for tying the orders of service together) or failing that, some black ribbon for the same. I think we might need to head to Hobbycraft or somewhere similar for that, but we might get lucky!

    Right... back to the typing...!

For my birthday I am going to set up a jar to save for a tortilla press I think - we do eat a fair few LOL

Crickett - I know we can't be with you for your Dad's Service - but as you are typing up the order today I want you to know that we are with you every step of the way - in fact we are imbedded in every "M" you type.

Better get a wiggle on - Mum is coming for lunch

It seems FW is descended from vampire slayers

Bored... It's raining again and I feel I should be going for walks or kayaking, but it isn't much fun in the rain!

Afternoon peeps - I was at the eye hospital this morning and although I am still on my drops my eye pressure has reduced - I dont need to go back until 10 October:j

Please may I have some good vibes for 2.30pm tomorrow afternoon? I have an interview for a part time job that could become a full time one. I have to drive to Redditch (Marru will know what it is like - a horrid place consisting of ring roads and laybys containing maps saying you are here but you have no idea where here is:eek:). When I get the job (note the positivity here) I won't be working in Redditch but in Hopwood/Alvechurch and at a push I could walk there (it will take about an hour and a half) or I could nip in the car as it would take 5 mins. It is a telesales job, however, it is not a hard sell job unlike the NoPower one- I would be selling spectacles and other such items. I love trendy specs.

Thank you MG - you made my eyes leak again!

We have just had a call from Dad's GP who was on holiday last week. He said he was shocked to hear that Dad had died... and he was very concerned about how Mum is doing. I think after talking to her, he is reassured that she is coping admirably.

We have got the ribbon for the Orders of Service - we ended up going with black ribbon. May as well - it is a funeral after all.

Right afternoon jobs are to swop bedrooms around - Mum moving into the spare room and Hubby and I get our room back. Oh goodness me I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed...! It shouldn't take too long to sort out. Just a matter of changing sheets and duvet covers etc.

Then it is back to typing and getting the order of service sorted out. I have some other computer-y type stuff to do as well, and my aim is to get it all done tonight. Then tomorrow can be spent getting all the stuff printed out or sent off.

I have one looking for a good home, you are welcome to it if you can arrange it to be picked up from West Midlands or can pay for the postage (it is rather heavy :o)

Yep, one way ring road, when you have gone around there is no going back but to go around again :rotfl: Best place to park is unit 7 as it is then walking distance from the town centre and is not that expensive either.

How very interesting! This probably explains why I spent three day reading teen vampire fiction and have ordered all movies. In case you have not guessed I am hooked on The Twilight Saga - I am either officially having a mid-life crisis or this is the begining of something big. A new writing project, may be?

You, of course realise that The Twilight Saga is the teen equivalent of Fifty Shades of Grey (if you don't know what this is go get it :rotfl:).

Ha, someone at work insisted on lending me the Twilights. I reluctantly humoured her because I dont like horror - and then had to admit I finshed the first one at 3am :o and that I needed the others urgently.
