Congratulations Marru, how clever are you, all those job offers!:j:j:j

Have a great holiday Lara, hope it is somewhere exciting

Loved the concert last night, especially Alfie Boe (swoon) and I can't remember the last time I heard Ohbladi ohblada - That was a surprise

Off to make birthday and fathers day cards today, as it is cooler so I can sit in my craft room.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you are doing

I got it :D, have cancelled tomorrow's interview as I have contract in my hand. Will start beginning of August so need to get my skates on when I get back.

But now some wine and family bonding :T

Congratulations and well done! Very, very well done!

Dull but dry here and I have a mountain of schoolwork to trog through slow and steady....dh is having a day doing something with the kids, although they are being a bit reluctant at the moment.

Hopefully if I can get through a pile of stuff it can be returned too the classroom tomorrow and decluttered from my house.

    Good morning Matrix.

We are getting ready for the last day of celebrations for the jubilee. We have just had a light breakfast, and we are due to have a coffee and some toasted bagels as well. We are then going to have an indoor BBQ (because it is flipping freezing out there today!) and then our tea is going to be small sandwiches, homemade scones and cake with a BUCKET of tea! So, very food centric today.

Mum is overdosing on the Queen... she is having a lovely time! :D

Have a great day Matrix... lots of love to you all.

  • Good morning everyone. Just got a fortnightly grass cut organised. It's only until the garden is made grass-free in August/September, so it's not worth the expense of buying a lawnmower and doing it myself.

Just getting the picnic ready before setting off for the walk round the dam. It's dry but a cold wind, so I'm wearing layers and packing a cagoule, as rain insurance. And a flask of hot water and Earl Grey tea bags.

I hope we all have a good day today.
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Afternoon all, finally starting to recover from the wedding. I can't believe how tired I still am! We had some hiccups but everyone had an amazing time and I still haven't stopped smiling :D
Now we have time to wind down back to normal until the honeymoon in a fortnight. I'll post some pictures on the other side soon
