Greenbee, the last time that happened with mine it was gunk in the drain at the bottom that had got through the filters, and survived soda crystals and hot wash. Had to sweep it out with cotton buds. The other thing was removing and cleaning the top sprayers, they were clen but the bit where they connected wasn't IYSWIM.

Thanks hex... Will have a look.

Currently beating egg whites by hand with a fork as I started cooking without checking and the whisk and blender that were here last year are nowhere to be seen...

Morning ladies - DS1 is a bit better today but confined to barracks for a while so I shall be having a "house weekend"

Been sorting through his clothes and he is short of some shorts for this summer and some play trousers - so we may venture forth and make some from my £1 charity shop pile of mens trousers.

Oh!! and some cleaning - MEH!! much rather be mind mapping but I hoping the new book arrives today so I can get stuck in over the bank Holiday.

TDQ - we need reports of "Curry in a Hurry on Tour" LOL what a fabby idea!!!

Toodle pips - school run beckons my dears

And good vibes today for some news that is brewing (that I hope they will make the decision on today rather than leave till after the hols>

Well we are back. Curry was a success. Took a large chicken breast diced into chunks, two portions of the paste. One portion of AYorkshirecook's caramalised onions, two sachets of coconut cream and a tin of tomatoes. It tasted wonderful and was ready in under 15 minutes.
Will certainly do something similiar when we go to Norfolk next month.

Welcome back TDQ - sounds like the "Curry in a hurry" is a great traveller.

Fuddle hon - don't even think about trying to read through all of our witterings LOL. Life frankly is too short!! Only one rule -ask questions cos even if we have passed that way before we are happy to go there again. ONly daft question is one you don't ask IYSWIM?

I've been a busy bunny - got a little Jubilee Giveway sorted out - a patriotic baby quilt. Look:

Just about ready to set aside this evening to do the edging in blue whilst the concert is on.

It's looking for a home -so leave a comment "you know where" and lets see if we can find it a lovely new home to head to courtesy of the "Matrix Aunties".......... Oh and spread the word to any ladies on other threads who are expecting, delivered or have already taken receipt of a bundle of Jubilee Joy!!

Afternoon peeps.

Hope you are all having a fabby Jubilee? Yesterday was spent with mum & dad - I had lunch and dinner as dad watched the motorcycle racing and mum & I watched the river pageant. We felt sorry for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh for standing through it all rather than sitting down - the pair of them looked perishingly cold:( We watched the Gary Barlow thing too about the Jubilee Song.

This morning, I have been to Cofton Park to the Council Nurseries as they have a plant sale on today - I could have spent an absolute fortune but managed to restrain myself and didnt spend anything:D Must admit that Mum was most miffed when I said that I had been because she hadnt realised that it was open today and she had wanted to go - she wouldnt go this afternoon as she has too much on. Her garage now contains 4 bent wood chairs (these chairs are at least 80 years' old and came from my grandfather's ice cream parlour), she also has my undershelf baskets. Tomorrow I will be taking my limited edition art, cameras and jewellery because I do not trust the landord or his letting agents who will let themselves in as they see fit and I can see stuff being pinched:mad: My flat doesnt look any tidier - in fact it is worse with stuff in bags and boxes:rotfl:

I came home from mum's yesterday with a whole cooked chicken breast and some small peaches.

Am not planning to do much today - I think I will sit on the internet for a while and play games on FB. Any tidying, cleaning, sorting and packing can wait and if the letting agents don't like it then they can whistle. Dad told me that if the house purchase falls through (it still might..sigh) then I can put my furniture into storage and go and live with them until we can find somewhere else.

Yes I watched the Gary Barlow docu last night too. I was in awe and seemed to be grinning most of the time. I do love the song too. I actually think it's the military wive's choir I like.

Had a busy day doing odd jobs and about to go do a load of ironing. I promised myself I wouldn't do it but gonna give some a whirl.

The jubilee concert and crocheting for me tonight and a few cups of tea. Just the way I like it.

Oh, and MG or anyone else. Can you help me get to the very first post of your blog? I would like to read from the beginning but can only seem to find the end. Any help would be fab :) x

Good luck Marru, know you will do well :)

I got it :D, have cancelled tomorrow's interview as I have contract in my hand. Will start beginning of August so need to get my skates on when I get back.

But now some wine and family bonding :T
