Very tired after run/walk tonight - did 3.68 miles round a nice flat park and have been taught how to breathe properly when jogging/running which is handy as I was doing it backwards apparently :o Tomorrow is most definitely a day of rest, for my legs at least!

It is a wonderful day - the sky is grey but my heart is bathed in sunlight and warmth. I cannot even start telling you how pleased I feel that I finalised a very large and high visibiluty project I have been leading for the last two and a half years. Just saved and closed the last document related to it.

It is extremely interesting research and we (the team included top academics from several disciplines from around Europe) managed to carry out very innovative research and our friendship and intellectual affinity grew. Perfect! And I have already published an article in very high prestige journal - highest even for scientists, really.

Sorry to brag, but I feel so, so pleased.

Today is also our wedding anniversary (of course I forgot and MrF remembered). Nineteen years spent with the man who totally completes me.

I love this post. I can feel the warmth and calm. Congratulations on both counts to you too, Firewalker.

Good Morning Matrix. Damp and Dank weather again. Wish it would warm up a bit. It is June and my feet are cold. This should not be happening!

So we are back to what passes for normal round these parts. I am going to begin typing up the orders of service today. There is a lot to get moving on. We need to get some card and paper for the printing of them as well, but that can wait for a couple of days.

Lots of positive vibes and love to you all.

Hope you find the right things to put in the order of service Crickett (and that it warms up too)

Ooooooh I ache quite a bit everywhere this morning but I suppose that is good in a weird exercisey way. Entire family are having a lie-in while I get on with some schooly stuff - off to drop 2 boxes and 1 bag of decluttering back into my classroom later:T

Hair, eyes and ears later then maybe I will feel more like a normal human being although I think my legs will still ache!

Persisting down here - but I'm sure it will go off later so that I can take a run to charity shop with some of DS2's old clothes (there is a local one that I am a great supporter of)

Apart from that - yesterday threw up that I need

    Risotto rice
    Tortilla wraps
    Milk Powder

and Sugar ( well I suppose I have been doing a lot of jams recently LOL)

So keep an eye open on AF for me ladies and give me the heads up when the rice and wraps come in again.

Last day for voting on the MADS Best Thrifty Blog- but I don't suppose they will let the people know will they - cos they will want everyone to come to the awards. Been nice to be nominated but not sure I can be done with all the faff TBH - prefer to get on with the writing and creating stuff for all my lovely ladies.

Off to feed some hungry boys

Morning all hope all is ok :)

    Popping out of lurking :o

MG your stock pile has def made me think I need to sort one asap I'm going to have a few hard months health wise and I think it could save me on the days I don't feel like facing the world and going shopping.

    Now where to start :rotfl:
  • Morning Ladies,

Hope that you are all ok, I will catch up properly once i have sorted my self out (holiday washing = urgh!)

Had a great few days away, saw Mum for a bit yesterday and she seemed quite well in herself. She has also been called for breathing tests on Monday, so at least we know she will be thoroughly checked out. I still have a knot of "fear" in the pit of my stomach, but generally feel a bit better about it all. A few days away certainly adds perspective.

I need to crack on with my washing and sorting the odds and ends out from the weekend, also need to do a little bit of shopping today. Then DS and I are going to have a DVD and popcorn afternoon. His request, but as you can imagine i didn't need a lot of persuading!

Looking forward to catching up with the blog MG, i had the emails come through to my phone whilst away - the peanut butter cookies certainly grabbed my attention, may have to add eggs to the shopping list so we can give them a try.

Have a great day all, hugs and vibes where needed.

MG there were weightwatchers wraps on AF the other day when I ordered, I think they were 6 pks for 99p.

Its a dull day here today, got to go into town to sort my money and do some banking. I'm working my bills in a different way this month see if I manage better, I cleared my overdraft (£50) and put £15 in my purse and the rest in my savings account and I'm just transfering over what is needed, then any money left in my puse the day my next money is due gets put in a tin :) So far I've managed my over draft is still clear and I have still got £4.64 in my savings account and all my bills are paid for last week.
