Oops... Accidentally placed an AF order
Dora - they do sometimes take ages to process them, and sometimes by the time they come to pick it some stuff isn't thereMight be worth chasing though... And pointing out that you ordered when you did in the hope that it would turn up while you were actually around to accept the delivery. It's the only thing I have a problem with... You never know when you place your order whether it will be with you in 2 days or 2 weeks, and you get very little notice of delivery (I usually get an hour... Less if I'm first on the day's round...)

Thanks Greenbee - had the same problem last two times and they put it down to a computer glitch so I might email them to make sure it isn't 'glitching' again....is just a pain as I don't want to have to go and buy extra stuff in the meantime iyswim and dh and I can't take any time off work.

Just checked my order history and the one that was delivered before my holiday is still showing as being processed... So that phone call may well be worth it Dora!0

Have had an amazingly productive day today! I hope you don't mind, but I want to write it down somewhere... here is my TADA list!!
There is no ironing in the house
There is no washing in the house
I cooked a lovely dinner (compliments left, right and centre)
The words for the Order of Service have been typed
I have worked out how to print it off as a booklet
I have hoovered downstairs
I have sorted out my prescription and got it, along with the ribbon for holding the booklet together and some other bits and pieces I needed
I have stripped two beds and made them again
I have swopped all items over from one bedroom to the other
All the washing has been hung up around the house (when it was rescued from the weather!)
Yay Me!!
Plan for this evening is to sit and do some crafty stuff while watching Lewis. And then get into my own bed and sleep the sleep of the just!!

A heads-up to all LinkedIn users - there's a report in the Telegraph Online that a Russian hacker has stolen and posted 6 million LinkedIn users' passwords on a hackers website.
I suggest you change your LinkedIn password as a precautionary measure. If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

And any other accounts where you use the same login credentials and passwords... Now I just need to remember my linkedin password so I can change it and know what other accounts I need to deal with.

Thanks for the AF news Clairewop - now I know it's not personal I will stop moaning (and buy a bag of crisps)
Don't like reading glasses so far - have to have them perched on the end of my nose in order to look up from reading/stitching/computing which is driving me mad atm - suppose I better get used to itMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Hasn't even got as far as being picked yet though....I know it will be very worth it when it arrives but have trouble with it arriving when I am not at home. No neighbours or safe place to drop it at either.
Next free date for us is now next Wednesday which is a long time to wait for the crisps I am hankering after:rotfl:Oops... Accidentally placed an AF order

Our last order (last week) arrived within the week - had a text the day before to let us know when it would be delivered and the option to change day to a more convenient one - which we did. Then we had a text to let us know the 'hour window' it would be delivered in and it duly arrived on that day,on time! Do AF use different couriers??Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
