AF usually use DPD round me and I think it's the same nationally. I have noticed that they now put the driver's name on the email! I have email alerts rather than text as I am more likely to see them when working, but often the one hour slot warning arrives swiftly followed by the courier as I'm first on his round :)

Need to get up and dressed and head off for my patisserie class. Pouring with rain here again...

    Morning Matrix.

I slept soooo well in my bed last night! I was out like a light and didn't wake up at all when I should not have done, and I woke up refreshed and vaguely energised... I haven't felt that for AGES! Shame about the weather though! I think I might wear my scuba gear when I am running my errands this morning! :(

Today is going to be more typing of stuff, and sending bits and pieces to people, doing the supermarket run, and then my counselling appointment tonight. Not quite as busy as yesterday, but hopefully as productive.

Right... off to put a bomb under my beloved so he moves his car so I can get to the supermarket before everyone else wakes up! :D

Morning ladies - it is gloomy and wet here but I have been up since 7am (not yet dressed or washed mind). I have been printing off directions to the interview place which are easier than travelling from where I am now - it is far less of a trip to travel from mum's and far less complicated. As it is raining I will be wearing my pinstripe trouser suit as I have to do a bit of walking and don't want water splash marks up the back of my tights:eek: I cannot park at the venue itself because they have very active clampers so I have to park on the road or even in Sainsbugs.

BTW - it was so cold last nigh I ended up pulling on a pair of fluffy bedsocks just to keep my feet warm (I have been wandering around sockless for weeks now).

Hope you all have a good day weather permitting.

Thanks for the tip about LinkedIn too - I had better change my password for that.

LOL at crickett and the scuba gear.

MIA this morning - playing with my birthday present (this year I am giving and getting a present) - only a few days to go ;-)

Can't remember who the courier is for AF up here - his name is Norman, does that help???

Am off to my olds for a couple of days - AF order not got to the courier (DPD) yet but they haven't taken any money for it either.

Can't believe the weather forecast for our trip is violent storms - guess we won't be playing in the park then

Hope everyone has a good couple of days, MG wins the MADblog and Crickett enjoys her scuba session :rotfl:

Exciting news, Just had my first whole site presentation invite sent out (I work at an R&D site for a large household detergents manufacturer) which is now setting me off to be a huge bag of nerves. Lots of declines although a few acceptances so far. I'm impressed as it's half term.

This will get me big exposure on site and although the main portion of the presentation is being done by an external person I am the onsite contact for the equipment. I've been here 10 months so not long compared to most people and this is very much a career job.

Now to go finish my slides before I practice with my manager this afternoon. She thinks we're cutting it fine, this is the most prepared I've ever been. I normally finish things the morning of *whistles*

    Good Morning

Horrible here too :( Need to put some washing in the tumble empty and refill DW and put more washing on, but struggling big time this morning, my hip has been hurting for days now, I think its time to give in and ask for the dreaded injection again :) in both my back and my good shoulder :(. But never mind eh?? I'm plodding on :)

I have nearly finished the first panel of my poncho only 16 rows left :) then another 3 to knit :) ( am taking pictures of the stages cause I'm hoping to beable to get it on the blog :)

ETA: I emailed AF this morning, I have just had a reply they believe my order should be with me tomorrow :)
