    Hi ladies

Thankyou for your kind words today, i am feeling a bit calmer about it all at the moment.

In reply to some questions I don't work, but do volunteer at a charity shop where i have great friends, who I'm sure will be of great help should i need it. I also have great friends around me at home, and a wonderful hubby, who although is not great at "words" is my rock and i know will prop me and DS up should it be required.

I have spoken to Mum about it today, she is not worrying herself, and i have told her that it could be bad or it may not be, (and i do feel a bit more confident telling her that after some more googling). There are positves i.e she is fine in herself, her cough has not got worse, if anything it has improved. So i am going to use those to get me through the next week.

We are off to Hayling Island tomorrow (Inlaws Caravan = Free!) so I plan to have fun. I will try to be a bit MSE but one thing this has made me realise is that life is short, so i intend on some great days out and not worrying too much about the money side. After all memories are priceless!

Horace, i used to work in lettings, and our viewing "policy" was at least 24 hours notice, usually in writing. If you know who the agents are it may be worth a call to them to ask their policy?

Hope DS is feeling a bit brighter tonight MG, it's just horrible when they are poorly, and Gemzie enjoy your day, make sure you take as much in as possible, it will pass you by in a blur very quickly.

I'll try and post after the weekend, hope you all have a great few days and as ever thankyou. Your words truly helped me pick myself up today.:A

Morning Matrix ladies, we are off on our first cheapie Sun holiday, so I am packing up the makings of curry in a hurry, some HM lasagne and bread, HM nibbles and a bottle of fizz I was given for my birthday last year so a very MSE trip. Treat for the weekend is meeting uo with an old friend for lunch, and we will enjoy spending time at the seaside.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
And huge congratulations to Gemmzie, have a fantastic wedding day and enjoy your holidays (I guess you won't mind having to take this Bank Holiday off at all!!):j:j:j:j:j

Morning ladies - DS1 is a bit better today but confined to barracks for a while so I shall be having a "house weekend"

Been sorting through his clothes and he is short of some shorts for this summer and some play trousers - so we may venture forth and make some from my £1 charity shop pile of mens trousers.

Oh!! and some cleaning - MEH!! much rather be mind mapping but I hoping the new book arrives today so I can get stuck in over the bank Holiday.

TDQ - we need reports of "Curry in a Hurry on Tour" LOL what a fabby idea!!!

Toodle pips - school run beckons my dears

And good vibes today for some news that is brewing (that I hope they will make the decision on today rather than leave till after the hols>

    Hello Matrix.

Feel a bit zombie like again. Hubby and Mum let me sleep in this morning, which was lovely of them... but potentially a mixed blessing I think. I am just typing here and then I am going to go and steam myself in the shower! One foot in front of the other is the order of the day again I think.

I need to contact a company to make sure I have managed to order the memorial cards we want to have at the funeral. I am also going to make a start on the orders of service, and Mum and I are going to go and find the best flower shop in the area to get the flowers sorted for Dad's coffin. I also want to contact the caterers to make sure they can cater for the reception, and book the Cathedral Hall for the same as well. And I need to make an appointment with the Cathedral Dean to discuss the reading, hymns and other music at Dad's Requiem. Yup. A lot to do. I have cooking and cleaning and ironing to do as well. It should keep me busy at any rate!

Have a great day Gemmzie! :D

Lots of love to all of you...!

Evening all, quick whirlwind stop from me, getting married in two days, eek! Positive thoughts for everything going smoothly tomorrow for Saturday would be hugely appreciated :)

Great! Thinking of you and sending wishes that you have a great day. Remember that your wedding day is YOUR day and it is important to enjoy it; if you do, all else is likely to fall in place.
