TMIF, soo pleased for you - but I know from my own experience of past restructurings that you still feel a bit sick afterwards especially when there are others who didn't make it through. Treat yourself gently this weekend
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

TMIF - that is wicked news - I am so pleased for you. As MG says it is time to celebrate this weekend so be kind to yourself and have fun.

I have done a bit more tidying (not much) and I have been using MSE to answer some questions and I have discovered that the letting agents cannot just let themselves into my flat as they see fit and that I can contact them to say when I will accept viewings.

I may just crack open a small bottle of wine this weekend as I will need sustenance whilst sorting out stuff plus I am less likely to see the dust if I have a drink inside me:rotfl:

I am thrilled that MSE sold for £67 million. It shows how one can build a business AND contribute immense value to people's lives as well.

    Well done, Martin!

I agree FW - I think it was Tony Robbins that said "its about adding value" - and this place does that in spades.

So many lives changed for the better - that is a wonderful legacy to create isn't it?

Now he has the really difficult challenge to tackle - the being a Daddy one LOL

Gemmzie - Have fabulous day tomorrow.

    And well done TMIF :j

I am flying back home tomorrow evening for interviews on Monday and Tuesday. Chez Marru is under siege as military operation is taking form. Who goes where, what needs to be packed, what needs to be sorted, who needs to be contacted etc.. Off to write my list.

Finally did it - turned eight pairs of men's trousers from the clearance racks into some shorts and trousers for DS2. Pooped now though!!

I just popped on for a quick catch up - as usual so much to be happy about!
Gemmzie - have an amazing day, positive vibes the weather is good and you have a lovely day, and rest of your life!
TMIF - Congratulations, and I hope you celebrate in style this weekend, you deserve it.
MG - Totally agree with you that Martin has done so much for so many and he deserves all the riches it has brought him. And I just saw the shorts you have created for your son - Is there no end to your talent???
Horace - Glad you had a nice lunch! Good luck with the sorting/packing - hopefully it won't be too long before you are in the new house and the stress of the past few months will be a distant memory - just pace yourself, and think of the end game!
Marru - Good luck for the interviews - the job of your dreams is waiting for you.

Morning ladies - Happy Bank Holiday Weekend!!!

We have our "Children's Gala" today - so fingers crossed the weather stays fine until about 2pm so the kids can have their parade through the town and a good run around on the rugby field.

DS1 has chosen his shorts - naturally LOL so we should all be set soon.

The only "Big Frog" that needs to happen is a quick "Stock-take" of the Armageddon Cupboard so I may combine that with some writing, which reminds me L**L has a n offer on mince today so better go get the weekly shop before they sell out.

Meatballs, Kofta kebabs, kofta curry, hamburgers, American meatloaf as well as frozen portions of mince base are all in production this weekend.

Have a great weekend my friends - Nine days to my birthday and Mr F has already given me my gift ( a fabulous funky add on to the blog) - it is gong to take a little setting up but I am so head-over-heels excited that I could burst - so as soon as I have done my bits I will let you all know to have a peep over.

Happy Jubilee Ma'am (just in case she is reading LOL)
