Definately the £10 sofa challenge cos it really is brilliant
Is Frugal the New Black really does sum up your take on things
Your new latte challenge is a contender, but I think I am leaning towards the 'curry in a hurry' as it is very frugal, versatile and tasty!!
Thanks claudiac - that's the sensible kind of feedback I am looking for. Not having a sensible day I'm afraid LOL

Claudiac beat me to it - the curry in hurry is such a great idea, saves a fortune as it can be ready in a tic and can be adapted to suit all kinds of tastes0 -
I agree with all of the above, just tweeted your link
Hopefully I can get a few people to look your way at least.

Didn't you do one about your weekly meal planning system (a rice-based meal one day, pasta one day etc) and the summer and winter variations? I seem to have trouble finding your older posts, sorry, but I thought that was a clever idea to make meal-planning simple and help with store cupboard 'stock control'!0

I also think the last one should be about cooking. The posts where you show how to make expensive "treats" for cheap at home are all great, because that shows that being frugal is really not about doing without.
So for me the spicy salsa Latte challenge (biscotti?) or Curry in a Hurry.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Another vote for curry in a hurry 'cos it pulls the strands together - storecupboard and thrifty and cooking.:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Thanks for all the good wishes for little mr spotty-malotty (his sisters new name for him) He was so dosed up and slathered in calamine lotion he had a good night's sleep, kept his window open once it had got cooler and dug a tower fan out of garage which blasted more cold air round the room before he went to bed.
Today he is much perkier so far and we have been out to the park before the heat of the day - think he is relieved to know what it is, that it will get better and that he doesn't have to go to school
Hair appointment postponed till next week and f-i-l baby sitting while I go for a filling tomorrow so today is the day to get the house in order before he comes over - it will take most of the dayMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

MG I think a cooking one as well but I would be inclined more to go for the one about ciabatta or oatcakes as not everyone is keen on curry. Besides, didn't you explain to a journalist how using her bread machine could help her pay off her credit card and she got all thoughtful?
I was looking for a post with your store cupboard in but I couldn't find it. That would be another one to get people keenIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
My mum has made the decision - so we can all blame her LOL
Curry in a hurry - but go back to the post and put pretty pictures on of the dishes we have cooked and a link to the naan bread.
Is Frugal the new Black - cos it pulls together what we are about
And the sofa challenge too.
So better get busy gussying them up I suppose LOL

Have voted MG and spread the word amongst my small but select group of friends.
Have managed to get out in the garden for a while this evening and we have a lawn again - have had to evict three lost tribes and rehome a troupe of monkeys but it was worth it as f-i-l will be inspecting tomorrow. Ds is now very red all over (we have watched the spots creep south throughout the day) but the antibiotics have cheered him up no end so he seems to slowly be on the mend.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
