I was today attacked by my ex's new partner because I didn't let DD keep the photos of her with her dad in my house. She called me a cow in front of DD. Now all you separated people with kids and new partners out there, would you have pictures of your ex partners in your house?"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Dear God, no, is my 1st reaction!! With a little thought, I guess if my child really wanted to have photos I would ask for them to go in an album in their room. I certainly wouldn't want pictures displayed. Regardless, it's not for her to abuse you over your choices in your home. I'm also guessing she wouldn't have pics of you and your ex in her home.
Just to add, I haven't got a partner yet but can tick the seperated box
Marru, I forgot to say "Congratulations" earlier too. Don't let 'her' override your successOne step at a time0 -
Sounds like a Green Eyed Monster Moment Marru.
You have your daughter - you have a Wedding Proposal - you have a choice of jobs - you have a goal for the future - you have the Matrix Formation Cheerleading Group.
In fact at the moment I'm having a little green Eyed Monster Moment LOL
And NO - I don't have pictures of my Ex and his GF out on display - although DS1 has some on his wall in his room - riding elephants on his 7th Birthday - stroking Lion Cub - at gates of Krugar etc.
Mrning Ladies -have a guess what I have planned for today - Yup!!!! Sewing my Party Frock - YAY!!!!!!

Yes, if I have a child with them. In fact I was quite close with my OH's ex for a long time (and still defend her when her sons whom I raised try to say something against her).
Maru. having pictures of your ex in your house is not about you; it is about your daughter for whom he will always be her Dad (irrespective of how badly he has behaved/ is behaving with you or, for that matter with her). So this is a very hard one!

Good Morning Matrix.
Today is going to be a busy day. We need to get my house clean and get some kind of routine set up asap. Luckily there are 3 women available to clean... me, my Mum and my sister. My house is tiny, so there is not going to be much for us to do really! Never mind. We will keep busy in any case.
Thanks again for all of your support. I really wouldn't be this together without you!
Marru, I agree - sounds like she is jealous. I wouldn't mind having pictures of the ex-OH in the house, but pictures of her as well?! I would have problems with that!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Today was going to be report writing but have a meepy clingon of a ds - swollen tonsils, heat rash and general under the weather-ness - so going to see how today pans out. On hols so no watch on which I find really relaxing - also the fact that I can have a drink or go to the loo when I want, not when my breaks demand, weird how such small things make such a big difference.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000
Savings for big things £90170
