The Olympic torch will be here May 26th and we also have a food festival in town the same day.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
yep looked at mine and there are people from York, and other areas coming to run with the Torch through our town... bit of a long journey for them... only one local person will be running with it. And reading about her she wholeheartedly deserves too.
Well when I said not from the area I am talking about the 4 or so who all appear to come from the same town in the Ukraine - very odd??Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Olympics football is at Manchester United (hate football - like watching paint dry compared to the greatest game Rugby League!) so will be giving it a miss! Have got a tv so will watch some bits of Olympics but am not wound up to fever pitch just yet:p
Oh I know just what you mean about football..........but we are a Rugby Union household:D We have tickets for 3 events. I am hoping we dont have Olympic fatigue before the whole shebang starts!
.Would need another account setting up tbh.
Yep we have a bills account. 1 big SO paid into it on payday then all DD bills paid from that within 5 days of payday. Works for usBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

 - ours are all from the UK, just not all from our area. Mind you one who was supposed to run with the torch was found at the london riots! So she won't be running with it!0 -

Good Morning Matrix.
After a really productive weekend, I am on course for a productive day today as well. The house has had a thorough going over. I just have to do a big clean on the bathroom, which is in my plan for today, and then it is just maintenance until Parents come and go again! The place is clean, relatively tidy and that is all that counts.
So my plan for today is to get dressed (I am currently at my computer drip drying from my shower... multitasking or what!!) have breakfast, clear the kitchen up, clean the bathroom, put all the towels through the wash, go through the ironing baskets and decide on what clothes stay and what clothes go, and do some ironing. Then it is off to choir tonight and rather late home. Then I have tomorrow free to do some other prettifying bits around the house to make the place look great for Mum and Dad (and picking up the shower bench we are borrowing so that Dad can sit down and shower!). They are due to arrive for lunchtime on Wednesday; so everything will be done by then. I hope to be pottering in the garden when they arrive! Or walking the dog...!
I hope everyone has a great day and a great week. Positive vibes for everyone."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Hi, my friends. I have been off for a long time now - too much other things to do; but I did still read so I am up to date with all that has been happening.
Today is, apparently, my day: the day of the firewalkers. I did explain sometime ago that firewalking in Bulgaria is a religious ritual done on a particualr day of the year - it is today.
So let's see what will the day bring; I have some editing to do and send another paper to a journal; have to do a job for the Irish (don't ask) and have to go to the gym - this marathon in October is not going to run itself.
