I've just made DS1 a weeny pot of Raw Raspberry Jam from some reduced rasps.

I have snuck it into his rucksack for a surprise tonight when he is at his Grans - he will so chuffed as he loves it so much.

One more thing to finish - but just waiting for confirmation so nearly nearly.

Ticked off two things today on my list, was about to tick off a third when I went into the lab to find a machine leaking so plumber is there now making me a new seal.

Looking forward to making Jacked Potatoes for tea for me and the OH when he finishes work at 7pm he's at work all day tomorrow so I'm going to see my parents and then tidy the flat some and then he's on a 6 hour shift on Sunday.

Been having fun using that website setting myself todo lists :)

Hello folks - I have been out and about today getting little bits of essential shopping, chatting up men in door shops and chatting up an old man as I admired his garden. I also signed on today too.

Thinking of weddings, I have remembered that I have 3 beautiful silk flower bouquets that I bought as samples (I never did get around to selling them or selling any of my wedding stuff). Marru - you are welcome to choose one of them to have as your own - I did try and get some that were tasteful and didnt look fake. Must confess that I haven't read Marru's diary for a while as I have been caught up with stuff:( Congratulations anyway. I can sort out these bits n pieces for you and arrange to catch up with you sometime to pass them on.

MG...bitter chocolate and lime sounds fab - my sofa is a dark chocolate brown and lime green would add some zing to it as I plan to have lime green curtains and neutral coloured walls in my through lounge/diner. A tutorial on how to turn fabric into cushions would be fab:j

I also have a copy of Alys Fowler's Thrifty Forager that I have decided I no longer need - it hasnt taught me anything new and it even features some of my own foraging places eg. Bilberry Hill where I can pick bilberries in the summer. If any Matrixettes would like it then please drop me a PM with your details and I will send it on.

After a stressful week at the rock face I often allow myself a little saunter around my favourite plant nursery on the way home - just to dream up a few ideas for the garden and maybe treat myself to a 'ooh I have just the spot for that' plant. My Oh always says he can judge how bad the week has been by A) if I only came back with a idea b) how many plants I bought and how tall those plants will be eventually - plants with tall spires of flowers are my favourite.......................... Today I came back with 6 Hollyhocks:) Its been a tough week again

Had an amazin 90 minutes when three things all came into my life - possible work, some ad stuff for the blog - and this:

    http://www.helpmetosave.com/2012/03/write-on-finance-blog-up-leeds-competition/

Yup!!! Remember earlier in the week when I wrote the wrong competition entry and had to start again at the last minute?

WELL I ONLY WENT AND WON IT :j:j:j

I am going to a cool Blogger conference and they are putting me up in a cute hotel. So chuffed - and hoping that we can arrange a meet-up in Leeds on the 21st of September.

Proof from the Universe that I am on the right track I think:T

Still feeling a bit below par but my stomach and I seem to have come to an uneasy truce and I am still hungry so I am still feeding it!

Do like the three list thing and managed to do three things today so having a well earned rest and early night again tonight. Have already written 3 things for tomorrow to get some schooly stuff done first thing but Sunday's list contains just stitching, relaxing and pampering (notice no schoolwork as I have stopped doing it on a Sunday:j)

Sorry cross-posted and missed MG's big news - so more jumping smileys for you too :)

    Morning peeps

Munching on a slice of granary bread with the scrapings of the pan of raspberry jam ................... watching the Olympic Flame come in by helicopter to Lands End.

You ladies have got SUN down there LOL.

It is due here on the 12th of June - so let me know when it passes by you - judging by the route we all stand a good chance of getting a peek.

    And it's lit!!!!

We are off ................. woop! woop!!!

Runs past the end of our street June 1st and up to the safari park (where it is having a party and our names are in the draw for tickets but not heard yet) will be nice to see it but would have preferred them to stage some events 'up north' as original bid said :(

Stitchy day with friends today so off to do my list of essential 3 things - wm, dw, quick run around tidy before I am allowed out to play :)
