Frost and SNOW forecast!!!!
Seriously, it is May and I am still wearing gloves to go outside.
Got my list of three things sorted so I am off to try and see if I can knock off one of them before the school run.

Good Morning Matrix peeps!
Marru... you naughty girl not telling us before...! Congratulations though!!May this be the start of great and wonderful things for you!
I have decided that today I am not going to have plans. I had loads of plans yesterday and it turned into an epic fail. Basically I did absolutely NOTHING of what I had planned and got really rather annoyed with life, the universe and everything. So today... not plans at all. My only motivation is to keep moving. That ought to get LOADS of stuff done in and around Casa Rickett.
My Mum and Dad are coming to stay next week. I am beginning to get very stressed about it. My perfectionism is rearing its ugly head... and that is so unpleasant. I want to have a lovely time with them, but I also know that if the house isn't spotless and tidy and clean, and if everything doesn't happen just perfectly, then my Father will criticise and carp and make life miserable.Just need to repeat to myself that it doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be done.
Have a wonderful day everyone! Hugs to all the poorlies, and positive vibes for us all."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Oooh... there is one other thing that I forgot to tell you...!
Last week, I ordered some ingredients from the internet... they have all arrived, and so I am now able to make my own toilteries!I am going to make a cleanser, toner, moisturiser and soap. I have wanted to do this for ages... and I am very excited!!
And all the ingredients cost less than a stock up of my usual (very cheap) toiletry selections!
Very MSE!!

Be interested to hear how you get on Crickett - have been saving bottles and jars for ages for the same reason
Don't worry about your parents coming. If you're relaxed and happy it sets the tone for the visit. Tell them they have to chill out! :rotfl::A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
