bobbiny old day today - kids doing tests so got a pile of marking but planning is minimal so swings and roundabouts really. House is still in fairly good shape so going to zoom around with the hoover before dancing tonight.

Tried our lidl for a shop after work but it was a bit pants (sorry MG) there was hardly anything fresh in at all so back to aldi next time, perhaps it was empty cos it was Monday, so might give it another go later in the week.

I try and catch LIDL on a Friday night just after they have stocked up for the weekend - does tend to get a little ropey when stocks are run down.

That's not good news Claire - get it checked asap. He must be feeling pretty rotten

Hello peeps - the sun is setting and it looks glorious out there. I have started making plans for my business too after a dear friend gave me an idea this afternoon, we are both helping each other get back on our feet. He has started doing church work again too (he is a reverend) and I said that I was toying with going to my local church as a way of meeting new people and making new friends (well, there is a church at the corner of the road where housey is) although I don't normally go to church. Call me a heathen - I was put off going to church after being forced to attend whenever I went to stay with my aunt and when I lived with her for 12 months I had to go every weekend and sometimes twice a day:eek: It kinda put me off plus I wasn't keen on the vicar especially as he used to visit sometimes and my aunt would cook him tripe and onions which stunk to high heaven:eek: Anyway I digress.

Just wondered how easy or hard it is to make cushion covers? I have some perfectly good cushions, however, the covers are dark brown and a dark brown and cream pattern and I would like to change and have shades of lime green - thinking of house again. Must remember to get my old singer machine from ex - my chum got me the machine for £10 and I have never used it although my ex has, it is an aged manual machine which will suit me as electric machines scare me.:o

Have a good day tomorrow peeps as I won't be online much, if at all as I shall be at R*mploy nearly all day followed by a night at the business club.

I'm in Scotland :D ... Judt outside Glasgow for work. We arrived early, so hired a car and went for a drive and a couple of short walks. We've used the hotel pool and are now catching up on work, and trying to work out whether we can fit anything in before work tomorrow.

Hope your DS is better soon Claire.

Beautiful, beautiful day and I have "woken" up with a brilliant idea for the post for the competition to win a visit to the blogging conference -#itonlyworks.

I am obviously well on the mend if my thinking/visualising processes are beginning to clear up.

In fact I am up. dressed to my shoes and my sink is shining - back to normal at MFin3 mission control I think.

Claire - hope DS feels better soon.

Greenebee - did you bring this lovely weather up with you - if so, thank-you. Yesterday we had rain, sun, showers, sun and hail!!!!

Ping!!! that's DS1's packed lunch hot and ready to pack

First draft written - so taking a break to make lunch for littlie.

MY journalist friend suggested that I make the blog more "business" - so spent last night "sweating it" wondering if she had a point.

Today I have three connections made - all of them about "what is important is the personal relationship"

So - thanking her for all her conversation - but I think we will stay as were are ta.

Isn't amazing how some people can drag you off task a little without you being aware of it?

    Afternoon peeps.

Weather here is awful - I got drenched at lunchtime as I ventured out for lunch (not very MSE but I needed to buy lunch and I forgot to take a packed lunch with me). I have spent the day at R*mploy firstly on job searches and then speaking to my support worker. Lunch was yummy and it all got eaten - it did cost me £6.30:eek: but it was jolly well worth it. I had a hot turkey bap with stuffing, cranberry sauce, crispy onions and lashings of gravy, followed by a strawberry, banana & cream pud. I needed something filling.

The upshot of my meetings today are that I have been put forward for the night job at Sainsbug's - this is a midnight til 8am shift and will be a shelf replenishing job which will be hard work apparently. I had further discussions about MnS - it could be that 2 possibly 4 people are taken on so I shall make sure that I am one of those selected. I have also been told about another job with MnS as a money advisor. Lots of input and support with regard to finding work and I had a bonus - I was told that I could reclaim my bus fare so I was given £3.80:j The money didnt reside in my purse for very long though as I went to my absolute favourite cafe and treated myself to a large homemade chocolate brownie for £2.25 which I will eat tomorrow and possibly on Thursday too.

I am off out tonight and I am already suited and booted. Am feeling rather pleased with myself as I must have lost a bit more weight as I can now get into my suit which is a size 14:cool:
