Those fishcakes look lovely. Is the recipe on the blog? I have some haddock for dinner tomorrow.
I've not had my P60 either... still it might be P45 for me, depending on how my interviews etc go... Will know in the next 3 weeks I believe. Grr.0 -
JUst sorting out the photos for the recipe - so should be up in an hour or so if that's OK?
They were pretty good though.
And the Doc has had a good look at the blog and has taken the URL with him - so fingers crossed. IT is my ambition to have 1000 people signed up for the daily posts this year so every little help from him is appreciated.

It will be interesting to see what the reaction is from the conference. Sad to say, some professionals are opposed to helping people to live well on little money claiming it will just let the Government off the hook as they can say that benefit levels are ample and the proposed cuts won't cause any hardship. The proof of the pudding (as it were) is that there is huge demand for help of the sort they can get from blogs like yours and Frugal Queen'sIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

I agree hon - but hopefully we will pick up one or two more readers.
The thing is -its not complicated is it? This frugal thingie we so is pretty much common sense and a touch of creativity.
Ok OK - I know FW says "you have elevated Frugality to an Art Form" - cos we really do have a great lifestyle - its just that we don't spend much to achieve it.
But the thought of being so poor at managing my finances that my kids go hungry the day before benefits are paid (like one of the playgroup Mums) makes my blood run cold and my temper run hot.
So in the meantime all I can do is keep on keeping on - helping those who truly want to learn how to do it for their families too.
