Can I please go Grrh , grrh  grrh  ....

It has been a trying day from down there - firstly a subscription has been taken from my bank using expired card details (so shouldn't be possible). They have now agreed to refund but that will take 10 days  Very cross letter being written to the bank next.

After school club cancelled at 10 minutes notice before the end of the school day, and I'm substantially further than 10 minutes away at work and in the middle of some emotionally draining matters with team staff. School reasons now explained, and I can understand why, but planning and especially contingency planning has been absent on this project. Not to mention the personal embarrassment of having to dash away when I did from something that was needing more input from me. Still trying to explain to children why they had to wait, why club didn't run and why they couldn't have done something else...this may take some time to explain I fear :(

Computers of the world seem to be conspiring against me - either not working or delivering critical emails.

DH will be late home, I have an urgent meeting to attend later, and no nice red wine to help :o

Stomps off to storm around in the kitchen and cook something, anything,....normal service will resume later, maybe

manners woman: - hope everyone is having a better day than me! If you are in the PH postcode area I'd be interested to hear from you, a reputable marketing company is looking for seed post help.
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Morning Matrix. Sorry, have been missing in action for a while.

Clairewop, hope your DS is feeling a bit better and the doctors have managed to work out what on earth is ailing him! :( Hope you are feeling a bit better too.

Hugs and positive get well vibes to all the other poorlies as well.

As the sun is shining, I am relatively healthy and the house is kind of hygienic, I am going to spend the day in the garden. There is a lot of work to do out there, but I am hoping that once I get stuck in, I will forget about time and just have fun out there! I went to my local DIY store yesterday and got the materials for the garden projects I want to complete, so I have absolutely no excuses now. I need to get on with it and make the place a planty paradise! :D

Wish me luck... I might have broken myself by the end of the day! :)

AW Rats!!! We got to 200 last night and then MrF cleaned the list and found he was listed multiple times so deleted the doublers.

Still I am sure we will be there by the end of the day.

My article has been accepted for the competition - so it was worth missing Silk for - although I have got an appointment with my computer tonight to watch it - so nobody tell me what happened - OK??

Sun is out - but it is not supposed to last - changeable has been the understatement up here recently. So off to pin out some towels and make the most of my morning.

Take it easy crickett - remember baby steps LOL

Just wondered how easy or hard it is to make cushion covers? I have some perfectly good cushions, however, the covers are dark brown and a dark brown and cream pattern and I would like to change and have shades of lime green - thinking of house again.

As long as you don't need piping, quite easy with zips and even easier without zips: there seem to be plenty of tutorials on YouTube.

I suppose it depends how much you want to spend on fabric...
