Feel a bit like a heroine now.
Had telephone call from hubby in a bit of a flap. He got to work and realised he had no mobile phone with him, he was wearing the shoes he normally wears when dog walking, and he had forgotten all his papers for this evenings meeting. So I said I will drive them up to you, and suggested that he take me out for lunch somewhere. Yay! I don't need to get the kitchen mucky for lunch!!Plus, he thinks I am a bit of a star!
It does mean I need to get motoring with the housework though.
Off to have a shower and get dressed and then hit the chores.

Crickett there's definitely something going round! Got a call from DH at 10 to 8 this morning - he was going to get the next train back as he got to the ticket barrier and realised he had left his wallet, season ticket AND phone behind. He often manages to leave one of those behind but all three is quite an achievementIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Well, I decided to split the housework jobs over the three days of the week. So I have so far done:
Hanging out the wet washing, putting another load of washing on, cleaning the kitchen, hoovering the downstairs, the stairs and the upstairs. I have also answered the door to my Father in Law, told the dog off at least 4 times for being naughty (but she is cute, and fluffy, so she can get away with it usually!) and I have even had a rest in between worky bouts. I now have ironing, going to Chessie to meet up with hubby, and taking the dog out for midday and just before dinner trots.
I think I can do that... but I also think that I will be in bed early tonight!! Or asleep on the sofa... or both!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Remember to hide a few - cos if your house is like mine thy will disappear pronto.
I bought popping corn the last time I did an order - does that count as treats?

Had a nice send off with yummy choccies and Amazon voucher. AND I will have a Skype interview for a job back home next Thursday. I am trying very hard not to think too far ahead just take step at the time. But I think I am entitled to spend next couple of hours with a good book and choccies. Ah that is kettle boiled..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
